Far From Rays Of Light

Shut us Down formed in 2008 after the disbandment of a previous project called Hate Creation (2005) when the drummer Marco Pasti joined the band.
In november 2008 the first demo tape was released but soon after the line-up was modified to improve the vocal parts: John (guitar and voice) moved to voice along with Tia and TJ filled in the vacant guitarist position.
On summer 2009 the band started its first live concerts in the new six elements lineup. After almost a year the self-produced debut album, Far From Rays Of Light, was released in the fall of 2010.
In the first months of 2011 Tia decided to leave the band because of creative and musical differences. The band decided to not replace him and to continue with a five members lineup, giving place to more melodic influences.
