Emily Mercer is a Manchester based indie artist with some serious range. From piano-driven self-realisation ballads to tender folk songs, her genre-bending music reveals a naturally questioning nature. Mercer's songs have a flair for the dramatic and an ongoing theme of truth: millennial angst, self sabotage, confronting personal agendas -  each song acts as a call for an end to the BS - including her own. Though a warm and textured blend of Jazz, Folk and Pop, she rips apart the darker parts of the self and exposes them to the light.
