SHXME (SHAME) is a not-for-profit initiative, where for each subsequent release, the label partners with a different non-profit organization and all proceeds from the album go to the respective cause. 

SHXME teams up with Support.fm for its debut release, a compilation featuring Rabit, Dis Fig, Malibu, Rui Ho, Organ Tapes, Ariel Zetina, TRNSGNDR VHS, NAR, HOK, GRAŃ and Abyss X, available via SHXME's bandcamp.

Support.fm's goal is to build a secure online platform where friends, families, and allies can raise and distribute bail and bond money for trans and gender non-conforming (GNC) people; Support.fm is an intermediary, connecting a network of supporters to grassroots, trans and GNC led organizations that run community bail funds. 

For this release, each artist was asked to design their track outside their usual sound comfort zone, hence the compilation touches a wide spectrum of genres and aesthetics, delicately "exposing" each artist's skillful nature as producers.

Functory 03 is the third compilation from FunctionLab will be released on August 5, 2019.

Mice - 过肠 Intestinal Passer

Marco Colocci (@queimada77) is an Italian producer and sound engineer based in Berlin. Learning how to play the contrabass and music theory has initiated the growth of his interest in the techniques of field recording and sound design, as well as his overall passion for electronic music. After self-releasing music during his teens, and later producing for Taiwanese artist Sabiwa from Chinabot, under the moniker Queimada he now presents a debut record coming out on Gin&Platonic.

Built around a concept proposed by Harvard professor E.O. Wilson, Eremocene depicts a future state of miserable epoch into which human species is slowly but steadily accelerating. Characterized by the existential & material isolation that comes from having calamitously extinguishing other forms of life on Earth while intrepidly fulfilling our immediate needs, the future labeled as The Age of Loneliness sees our identity completely transformed. 
On the record, Queimada explores precisely the conflict between the tempting ease and a pang of unconfessed guilt in an attempt to capture the ironical relationship they epitomize. The album represents an encounter between different techniques of granular synthesis and field recording. The encounter between the unstoppable and destructive, altogether resulting in a disruptive anthem of the intensifying burden of the postmodern times.

+++ GUN UNITED 02 : P I T - Biotic Network +++

We’re truly happy to open the new year with another addition to our UNITED series, which for each EP in the series, one member of the GUN community collaborates freely with other producers and artists of their choice.

For the second piece in the series, multi-faceted producer and Biodiversità Records founder P I T brings together three up and rising talents : ASJ, myen and migu, whose activities of the past few years consistently kept pushing the boundaries of the electronic soundscape.

Biotic Network is a breeding experiment, a virtual field research that started with an open call to the GUN community to share data such as images, texts or sounds. These gathered multimedia specimens - an aggregation of personal experiences with nature, served as a substrate for the growth of a new life form inspired by mycorrhizal networks and internet archives.

From the moist synthetic echoes of Fungi on My Face.mkv to the interweaved chaos of Sculpting Mycelium.mkv and the encompassing symbiosis of Aggregate.mkv, Biotic Network transcends classifications and carefully crossbreeds counter-balancing sound species. 
The resulting EP is an interconnected web of sounds and imagery, providing us with a fertile ground for future generations of sonic ecosystems.
