"The Divine Dance" is intended to reflect the celebratory eruption of spontaneous and ecstatic joy that dances in one's heart when discovering their true Self in the reflection of the Divine.

Embraced by the arms of Love itself, one's whole being dissolves into musical notes dancing freely as emotions of uncontrolable happiness.

Shyan has chosen the very popular and beautiful Indian Classical ragas Hansadwani and Bhupali for this piece of music. Accompanying the ragas is the supportive chanting of the sacred mantra "Soham".

When it applies to a person's name according to Vedic philosophy "Soham" means identifying oneself with the cosmic universe or ultimate reality. 
Some people say that when a child is born it cries "Koham, Koham" which means "Who am I?". To this, perhaps when one becomes ready and attuned for reception, the universe replies "Soham" - "You are the same as I am".

Although this piece supports opportunity to release into relaxation, it can also feel to be energizing one with clarity, freshness, presence, self confidence and Joy.

It is a truly healing piece which noticeably activates the heart with the vibration of love.

Beautiful Awakening Edits

This track is from the album 'Afrikindian Healing' created by the musical group 'Sahaja Bless' which was born in Mother India. Sito Ji and Shyan Kishore met briefly in the Himalayan mountains of Dharamsala in 2013. Excited about their shared interest in music it was their wish to meet under circumstances whereby they could experience a deeper exploration of their musical passion together in the future. That time came in Goa, south India January 2017.

Having set their intentions together they very soon formulated a band of extremely talented musicians and began performing almost twice a day for about two months. 
Feeling very excited about their combined expressions of African and Indian music, and the creativity that was channelling through them, they decided to make an album to represent their musical joy, and to share this love for sound and sound of love with you.

Realising that sound is so powerful due to it’s influential effect on people and other non human dynamics of this reality, and other such associated realms, Sito and Shyan felt the name 'Afirikindian Healing' to be appropriately perfect for this album. 
Sound can support an increase in one’s sense of presence. The transformative effects that occur for an individual who may enter a state whereby concerns of past and future cease to have such a strong influence than they would usually, can be beautifully transformative and therefore healing.

Shyan has been in love with the sound of Bansuri flute since 1996. He has been passionately interested in many styles of music and instruments since childhood. One of his favourite instruments has been the African N’goni harp. He noticed a number of years ago that the combination of Bansuri and N’goni was outstandingly beautiful. The two instruments seemed to be perfectly suited. The rhythmical bright tones of the N’goni and the long deep, full tones of the Bansuri weave together to create layers of rich and mesmerising atmospheres of uplifting and meditative emotional expression.

Among many other styles, Sito has been learning African music for many years. At some point he was also drawn to the Bansuri with appreciation of it’s powerfully influential effect. To experience the sound of his N’goni harp being complimented by Bansuri is a blessing for him also. 
Equal appreciation of one another’s passion for Bansuri and N’goni has set roots in the soil of their hearts for the growth of this album.
Like fruits and flowers upon this tree the contribution of other instrumentalists such as vocal, percussion and Indian Sarangi have blossomed, and a co-creation of combined magical sounds has come into existence to represent beautiful friendships and cultural union.

I’d like to share a few edits of this gorgeous track ‘Song for Krishna’ from my friend Jo Kelly’s album ‘Love’ from her ‘Cafe Mantra’ collection.
It was a pleasure to contribute Bansuri flute to this album. Jo Kelly’s music and the devotion she expresses through it always touches my heart. I especially love this track as I am a big fan of Lord Krishna and the love he represents.

'Love' - Cafe Mantra (Edits)

In the Summer of 2019 in the gorgeous, lush green foothills of the Himalayas above Dharamsala, North India, I met Tamara. 
Perfectly I met her as sound first. In a small hidden, magical space in an area known as Upper Bhagsu Tamara was performing a concert. The ambient lighting and textural weaving of multicultural chatter from world travellers and local Indians who comfortably lounged on cushions eating delicious food and enjoying herbal remedies instantly blossomed one's heart open to receive the blessing of Tamara's extraordinarily soul caressing musical abilities. 
I have only felt such multi dimensional access to sacred realms of sound in Peru during the sacred ceremonies that I had had the great blessing and fortune to attended several years earlier.
It was a pleasure beyond words to meet such a soul sister who had accomplished such expansion and freedom, and whose service is also to share the portals and realms that I personally recognise to be of such high value and benefit.
