I thought I was already following you on YT when it was here that I was.  You are very good for being self taught.  I mostly am as well, but I had a few teachers over the years that I sought out to learn some things that I needed.  I found that most teachers haven't played professionally and can only read music and take you through method books.  You have to be dedicated to have the discipline to teach yourself music theory.

A musical piece for a concept of Unclearpicture. In this composition, the atmosphere offers an impression of escape by the underlying rhythm of the percussions which seems to give a kind of tempo to the quest. It is a step as if vertigo surprised the impossible immobility of the one who seeks to leave or perhaps find himself. Moreover, the rhythms are entangled where simply some chords seem to punctuate the composition. A kind of slow and heavy movement.

Dans cette composition, l'ambiance offre une impression de fuite de par le rythme sous-jacent des percussions qui semble donner une sorte de tempo à la quête. C'est un pas comme si le vertige surprenait l'immobilité impossible de celui ou celle qui cherche à partir ou se retrouver peut-être. D'ailleurs les rythmes s'enchevêtrent là où simplement quelques accords semblent ponctuer la composition. Une sorte de mouvement lent et pesant.

  Well folks, it's that time of year again. It's time for the Eclectic Collective to take stock of the fruits of the year previous, and reflect on what making music together means to all of us. We hope you all take a chunk of time and indulge in our gift to you. We wanted to address every one of our SoundCloud friends with our voices as an intimate way to connect with each of you.
  This has become a tradition within the EC now that we've made it to our second (and a half) year of making music together. For the second time, JJ asked our friend and sometimes collaborator Jeff (Stonerjazz) to ask some interview questions of us. Then, we all came up with the answers and sent them to JJ to assemble the project.
  This mighty music machine we've created, that manages to release a new song every Friday, wouldn't mean anything if no one was listening to us. Which is why we want to extend our very sincere thanks to you for tuning in and supporting our efforts. If one other person gets joy from our music, that's such a huge accomplishment. However, it really feels like a bunch of people whom we really respect are digging what we're doing, which feels truly humbling and fulfilling. 
  With that, we hope you enjoy hearing us voice our thoughts over the highlights of our musical year as much as we enjoyed a year rich in music and comradery. Happy New Year!

11th century. Ishbiliya. The Seville of taifas, the "flat city", also poetically called Alquivira (The Great).
Legend has it that the Poet King Almotamid or Almutamid, trying to spin some verses on the banks of the Rio Grande (Guad-al-Quivir) could not find the foot of one of them:
"The breeze turns the river into a chainmail coat..."
When, faced with his poetic blockage, a female voice behind him, hidden in the vegetation of the river, concluded:
"There is no better chainmail than the one frozen by the river."
It was the slave Itimad, called Romaiquiya, who would become his beloved Queen in an idyllic taifa. Until the invasion of the Almoravids banished him forever to Ahmad, near Morocco, where, faithful and in love, Itimad followed her until her last days.
You can visit her splendid Mausoleum there. And perhaps you will hear those verses that today are... nothing.
Like almost everything that was that Great City.

Cuenta le leyenda que el Rey Poeta Almotamid o Almutamid, tratando de hilar unos versos a orillas del Río Grande (Guad-al-Quivir) no encontraba el pie a uno de ellos:
“La brisa convierte al río en una cota de malla…” 
Cuando, ante su bloqueo poetico, una voz femenina a sus espaldas, oculta en la vegetación del río, concluyó:
“Mejor cota no se halla como la congele el río.”
Era la esclava Itimad, llamada la Romaiquiya, que llegaría a ser su amada Reina en una taifa idílica. Hasta que la invasión de los almorávides lo desterró para siempre a Ahmad, cerca de Marruecos, a donde, fiel y enamorada, la siguió hasta sus últimos días Itimad.
Podéis visitar allí su espléndido Mausoleo. Y quizás oigáis esos versos que hoy son... nada.
Como casi todo lo que fue aquella Gran Ciudad.
