A track that was heard everywhere from the big gun sets at festivals to the dingy backrooms of clublands underworld months before it officially came out - Shame Cube caught the ear of the more intelligent modern clubber with its unmistakably Sian style vocal creeping into a densely textured mash of beats and bass wobble. 

It marked a segway further into our dark and edgy strobe lit world inhabited solely by Octopus and its henchmen. Having already wrestled into the number 2 spot on Beatport Techno Top 100, we felt it a likely contender for a fan remix contest and we assigned Marc Houle and Oliver Huntemann the tasks of leading the way with their insanely creative interpretations, plus we opened the doors to hordes of fans to appear on this ep alongside the talented trio of producers, and selected a winner named Philip Lowenbek, who´s truly left field mix won us over with a straight-up adventurous attempt. Outstanding reimaginings of a new school cult classic tune, the mixes harness the vibe and stay true to that disturbingly catchy call to arms vocal ¨when will you look at yourself?¨.

Audiojack’s Gruuv label returns early April with youANDme’s ‘Orange Skin’ EP, featuring one collaboration with Heidi and a remix from the label-founders themselves.
Germany’s Martin Müller aka youANDme has been a core part of the Berlin club scene and further afield for the past decade with material on the likes of Cocoon, Rekids, Pokerflat, Desolat and Ornaments amongst others as well as shows in every major city from Paris to London, New York to Amsterdam and of course on his home turf in Berlin.
Here youANDme delivers his unique twist on dark and dance floor driven house and the release opens with ‘Common’ fusing dubby stab sequences and tension building atmospheric strings with thunderous sub bass tones and crunchy drums. Orange Loop ft. Heidi follows, employing dark and brooding stabs, vacillating subs, bumpy drums with a dynamically unfolding aesthetic.
Audiojack then round out the release with their stripped-back interpretation of ‘Common’ fuelled by the original’s choppy stab hits, murky bass tones and dry, crisp drums.

This record took a while to be finished but we're glad to finally release this beautiful EP from Matthew. The title track ‚Heimreise‘ has already been around a few years ago but never got to be released officially due to the vocal sample. After speaking to Matthew he sent us the track and we used it in our Cercle set last year which gave the track a second life and lots of people were asking for an official release. After lengthy negotiations the sample could be cleared and licensed and we finally finished the EP. We worked on a remix for ‚Heimreise' what turned out to be quite a challenge but after all we could wrap it up right before deadline and the whole record was ultimately done and set to release.

These two originals need no big introduction or explanation. ‚Heimreise' and 'Random Dub Fix' are wonderful displays of Matthews Dekay’s ability to create such hypnotic grooves that almost put you in a state of meditation. We still have so much fun playing these out that we really think this is a timeless piece of music. Thank you all for the patience, we’re happy that ‚Heimreise' found its forever home with Siamese.
