Welcome to the ninth show of A Darker Wave Extra, our brand new format of occasional shows presented by Jacki-E & P-Mac, with a one hour mix by the show's presenters in the first half featuring the latest and best of the new techno releases and a guest mix by leading underground Techno DJs in the second.

In our mix in the first hour there’s new releases and promos from Charles D, Gerard H, Tony Romanello, Mary’s Land, Malena Narvay  and lots more.

The guest mix in the 2nd hr is by Domek, who's from Prague in the Czech Republic. He’s had releases on many of the premier Techno labels such as Set About, Phobiq, IAMT, Space Kraft and many more. With his unique style of energetic Peak Time / Driving Techno and a growing catalogue of original tracks, his mixes always impress with their emotional feeling and power. He’s making his debut at Egg in London on 28th June for the 5 yrs of Space Kraft event.

This my first DJ set recorded in a long time. A personal reentry into the sound, the energy, and the mindset that shaped me. After years away from the decks, I returned to the decks, I returned to the studio with a clear intention, to reconnect with what matter the nost, the groove, the emotions, the flow. Is taken from a two hours melodic tecnho set tha moves you through deep, rolling bassline, atmospheric layers, and forward driving rhythms. . . Thanks for listening, It feels good to be back!

Sian Deda - Studio DJ set  - Melodic Techno

Originally from Palermo, Italy, I've spent my life immersed in music and global culture. After traveling the world, I’ve called Costa Rica home for the past 10 years.

With over 30 years in the electronic music scene, my journey spans more than 500 digital releases across Tech House, Deep & Melodic Techno, and Techno, available on Beatport under Dee Green and Antoni Danna. I’ve also released 10 classic vinyl records under the alias The Dee Man, featured on respected labels like Freeze NY and E-Sa Miami, including collaborations with icons such as Roger Sanchez and Todd Terry.

I was part of the underground movement in Toronto and went on to own three clubs in Hamilton, Canada. I'm also the founder of TECHNOID Recordings, a platform where I’ve released much of my own work, as well as on renowned labels like Tronic Sounds, Nothing But, LW Recordings, Syncopate Afterhours, Frequenza, Trippi Code, and more.

Over the years, I’ve played in clubs, festivals, and held residencies in places like Toronto, Nice, Ibiza, Zurich, and Palermo. I’ve performed at iconic venues such as Pacha and Tito's, and spent four years in the legendary after-hours scene of Palma de Mallorca during its golden era. In Palermo, I founded and ran IN_SYNC, a respected underground party, and held a residency at the Mob Club in Carini.

In Costa Rica, I've played at top venues like Vertigo, Home, and many others, and for three years, I curated the Elektronik Beats parties in Puerto Viejo, bringing high-quality underground music to the Caribbean coast.

The sound has evolved, but the pulse remains the same.
Today, my DJ and production style is rooted in Deep & Melodic Techno and low-end bouncy underground Tech House.

After taking a long, deep breath, I'm back, raw, independent, and ready to share the sounds that come from deep within.

This is my new era.
