This project deepened our understanding of how complex the ocean is. The issues that The Outlaw Ocean Project presents go beyond what meets the eye. Before we dove into the reporting, we used to see the ocean simply as a mass of water that sheltered many species. Now we know that that is just the tip of the iceberg to something much more complex. Music is the ultimate storytelling mechanism, but the audio is what makes or breaks that story. We took the opportunity to tell a story with every track.
