Returning ...is serving artists Black Mirror Park and Jaymie Silk, and debutant Chopper put the screws to Brandon Lucas’ ‘Meta Freak,’ transforming the sensual smasher released on sister label DESSERT into three throbbing Techno and Fast House renditions at breakneck speeds.

Black Mirror Park’s thundering and hypnotic brand of Big Room Techno set the scene for ...is serving with catalog no. 1. On ‘Meta Freak,’ Black Mirror Park transforms the original’s housey physicality into a thundering cascade of dubby chops and razor-sharp staccato groove patterns with rumbling industrial undercurrents.

Following up his three-track Ballroom blowout for catalog no. 5, Jaymie Silk applies his fierce brand of idiosyncratic, drum-centric Techno to ‘Meta Freak.’ Breaky and dynamic, Jaymie Silk’s rendition cycles through crushing drum patterns and electric synth contortions, turning the original’s morphing patterns into a booming firestorm of high-energy eclecticism.
Label newcomer Chopper recasts ‘Meta Freak’ into a timeless Fast House rendition with soulfully cycling vocal patterns and hovering pads, artfully threading the needle between angelic, weightless atmospheres and driving drum patterns.
