This playlist is a coloured mix of nearly all kinds of genres based on my personal favorite music from Free Music, Creative Commons and Netaudio Scene. The tracks were mostly found first on sources like "The Internet Archive", "Soundcloud", "SonicSquirrel", "Ektoplazm". So feel free to conquer the beautiful world of Free Music and Netaudio. Enjoy!

Free and Creative Commons Music - Part 5

Sk’p is a name that is instantly recognizable to those who are into some speeded up, playful, incredibly clean but detailed glitch tunes and not a stranger to chiptune madness as well. But that's just one side of him. 
A very prolific and active producer hailing from Belgium, he decided to release on Crazy-Language a very different output from what he usually does, being slowing things down while still retaining his trademark sound of beautiful immediate melodies, clicky beats and a very precise song structure. 
Inside Astravel are half a dozen of smooth, slow-paced classic IDM compositions that take no time on getting a warm and fuzzy feeling out of you. It’s simple, effective and very fun to re-listen time and time again, so you can start digging deeper onto all the nifty little details that are present inside. Complementing the six solid tunes Sk’p has to offer, you can still count on a couple of remixes from two of the label’s finest: Huron and Enabl.ed. Fitting like a glove to Berlin’s finest net label, Sk’p is already at home. (F.G.)

Grünfeld is dead, long live Grünfeld! Even though, with this “best of” release it’s time to say goodbye to Grünfeld, its spirit will live on through a fine selection of tracks, available on Broque.de from now on. The Grünfeld netlabel always has been a very special treasure in the netlabel landscape and we would like to pay our deepest respect. Founded in 2007 by DML, Philipp Frierich and Holger Leger, it quickly gained popularity and became a household name. Though DML has been contributor to all seven releases, several other artists have been releasing on Grünfeld, such as Holger Leger, Suedmilch aka Benedikt Frey or Steffen Baldo, to name just a view. Ranging from dub to straighter material, techno in all its diversity always has been the common ground on which Grünfeld tracks used to grow and flourish.
 
„Seven releases in eight years might seem as comparably small output, particularly in comparison with release schedules of other labels. But, without wanting to turn to overused stereotypes, quality rather than quantity has always been the label’s policy. Throughout the entire period, not a single track has been released which didn’t meet the expectations, standards and taste of all three label founders.
 
But as it happens more often than not: life is moving on and the planet keeps on turning. And, once holy priorities change over time. After eight years, keeping up with the own standards became a challenge. And, releasing for the sake of releasing has never been an option for the Grünfeld team. Therefore, the decision was made to retire the label. But not, without making another mark with this “Best Of Grünfeld” release on Broque, which at the same time becomes the new homebase for DML. This is a grand departure which makes space for something new.

The nature of an artist is hidden in its work. And as its usual, that is to say jumping between the artistic and production field, Sostanze Records wants to offer once again something fresh and different from the rest of the scene. Alexis feels the necessity to grow up, letting the audience understand his new tastes about the techno vibes which are evolving in the UK. And Alexis knows them. Thanks to the new record, Petite Cinema Français, he has room for experimentation, even though he is never settled in his background. The work is accompanied by three remixes produced by artists familiar to the indie net-label: BXP founder of Random Numbers, CVO, founder of the Consumer Recreation Services Recordings and Phooka, the latter founder of Concrete Records. The young dude from Gravina will come back soon on stage to beat the scene. As Cantona would say listening to the new production by Alexis: Au Revoir.

Nel lavoro dell'artista si nasconde il proprio carattere. E tra questa impronta e quella della produzione, il solito appiglio e dedizione che rispondono al nome dell’etichetta Sostanze Records, ciò che nasce è ancora una volta qualcosa di fresco e diverso dal resto della scena. È una necessità di crescere quella di Alexis, una voglia di far comprendere al pubblico i suoi nuovi gusti,i suoni congeniali della techno che si sta evolvendo in UK. E Alexis ne sa. Con il nuovo disco, Petite Cinema Français, sperimenta, non è mai radicato al suo background, lo alimenta e fortifica dando un’impronta che comincia a far parlare del ragazzo di Gravina che presto con il nuovo lavoro tornerà ad esibirsi live per scaldare la scena. Il lavoro è inoltre accompagnato da tre remix prodotti da altrettanti artisti familiari alla net-label romana: BXP, fondatore di Random Numbers, CVO fondatore the Consumer Recreation Services Recordings e di  e Phooka, fondatore della Concrete Records. La nave C/VVV se deja ver. Esta nave no sacude su polvo. Sus piezas están tejidas en vacío pues su fibra transita desde lo aprendido, viviendo, entendiendo y a su vez generando un anticuerpo al todo, dándole un vital lugar a la nada. Transitar constantemente entre el todo y la nada curte el espíritu fino y singular ante las constantes fluctuaciones. Así, desde ese viaje ir aprendiendo propiedades comunicativas y afrontando múltiples fases totalmente desconocidas por donde pasarán innumerables cambios o direcciones. Así es como la nave sigue fluyendo entre la enajenante turbulencia y la catarata humeante en los ojos del objeto. El pasado está siempre cerca. Es de una cálida y profunda oscuridad envolvente, una compañía esencial y cómplice, de consejo sabio y dispuesto a soltar la carga. Transformando el viaje en un gran mapa cartográfico de líneas balanceadas que se desvanecen con la finalidad de no dejar fronteras y a su vez recibir lo imprevisto, al pulso de una latencia orgánica y expansiva en paradojas.
