John was born in Toledo but he is currently based in Barcelona. Having started as Korben Nice in 2012, he developed the aim of evolving over the years and established its own sounds within the styles of electronic music. He stands out for the diversity, harmonic, atmospheric, electronic, techno, hard-techno or ambient of the styles that define him.

He has collaborated with several big names in the scene, released at quite a few most notorious labels and his performances have sounded in both national and international well known locations.

He has now crafted an exclusive set for us that certainly defines our philosophy.

In the 112th episode of Techno Cartel Podcast we are pleased to host Carmelo Ponente.

Driven by a love of the techno scene, but especially after discovering Fuse, an iconic Belgian club, Carmelo Ponente slowly but surely fell in love with textures, distortions and raw sounds. After a long period of hesitation, he decided to bring his passion to life, creating tracks that are released today on labels such as Newrhythmic Records, TMM Recordings, Subsists Records, Bahn Records, Format Records, Postdynamic Records, …. and supported by artists such as Tommy Four Seven, Lewis Fautzi, Zadig, Lakej, Casual Treatment, Adriana Lopez, Dave Clarke and many others.

His desire to return to the decks was becoming stronger and stronger. In 2023, it was time for him to return to this passion, which also allows him to express his love of the scene and he has produced two podcasts for TMM Recordings and Dwarf Planet Series. 2024 is shaping up to be just as exciting, because after playing in Lille alongside Linear System, Falling Echoes, Yrsen & Subtil, several podcasts are scheduled during this year, including this one !

Sobre a artista:

Ana Carolina Schmeling, nascida no Rio de Janeiro e cria de Floripa, deu início ao seu projeto Sassy demonstrando toda sua habilidade em mesclar vocais hipnotizantes, melodias atmosféricas e linhas de baixo expressivas. 

Com sets que predominam as vertentes do techno em mixagens progressivas, Sassy começa o ano de 2023 com sua primeira apresentação no festival Universo Paralello.  Conquistou entusiastas da cena em Floripa com sets marcantes ao encerrar eventos de rua como o CarnaHouse e Trip to Deep, além de uma inesquecível tour com 3 datas pela Argentina. 

Em 2024, Sassy retornou ao UP para se apresentar na pista Sinkro, coletivo de São Paulo. Por fim, Sassy teve a alegria de estrear no RJ, sua cidade natal, se apresentando na festa dos coletivos cariocas MOTIM e Techno Sessions no Carnaval. 

Com seu carisma, versatilidade e sede contínua por conhecimento, Sassy persiste em deixar sua marca na música.
