Leeds-based DJ, producer and co-founder of the upcoming Leeds-based electronic collective "Groove Exchange" SICNOTE is an emerging artist exploring all things hard house, hardgroove, trance and everything in between. Music became a gateway for him to combat chronic health issues, and during his journey he found a deep love for mixing and producing in the process. Obsessed with stabbing trancey synths, rumbling low end grooves, eclectic tribal percussion and hard hitting kicks, you can expect no shortage of raw energy in his sets. This set is an energetic blend of the sounds of hardgroove, hard house and groovy techno, crafted to keep you on your feet and bumpin. Catch Groove Exchange's debut event June 28th at The Fenton in Leeds where 9 DJ's go at it for a stacked 8-hour day party in the sun!

Co-founder of Groove Exchange (@grooveexchangeuk) and Leeds-based DJ and Producer SICNOTE is an emerging artist exploring all things Hardgroove, Hard House, Trance and Techno, with an added flavour of Disco, Funk and Soul. Music became a gateway for him to tackle chronic health issues and during his journey he found a deep love and passion for mixing and producing. Obsessed with stabbing rave synth, eclectic tribal percussion and hard-hitting kicks, you can expect no shortage of raw energy from his sets.

A huge fan of genre blending, he loves exploring the interplay between Techno-centric sounds and those of classic Disco, Funk, Hip Hop and House. Deeply inspired by the roots and heritage of Dance, he seeks to give those pioneering sounds new life in modern compositions and performances.

Groove Exchange is a brand-new, emerging electronic dance events collective and promoter based in Leeds, UK. Championing the sounds of Hardgroove, with the adjacent genres of Hard House, Techno and Trance, Groove Exchange aims to spearhead the surge of the Hardgroove sound in the Leeds scene, while at the same time contributing to growth of the local Leeds night-time economy.
