Soul Studios is a brand new, state of the art set of rehearsal rooms for bands and artists based in Hertfordshire and Essex. 

Built by musicians for musicians, each room is kitted out with brand new P.A systems, bass amps, guitar amps, a 5 piece drum kits (minus cymbals), mics, stands and leads. 

Each room has air conditioning for your comfort whilst rehearsing - a very rare thing that helps you push for longer more comfortable jam sessions!

Soul Studios boasts a lounge area complete with sofa and GIANT beanbag where bands can sit around before, during or after their rehearsal. There is ample parking and we are situated 5 minutes walk from Bishop's Stortford town centre and train station. As we have built this place with you in mind, we even have hot and cold running water and clean toilet facilities! We offer free wi-fi and for a small weekly fee we can store your drum kits or amps.

I was born into a musical family with both parents playing in a local dance band. My father played drums and trumpet, never together though, and my mother played Guitar, Piano, Piano Accordian, Harmonica and the list went on. 

I have been writing songs for as long as I can remember and in my late teens, after signing up for 10 years with the Australian Army, I met up with mates Brad and Dick who inspired me to pursue my writing further. 

I have many and varied musical influences with the Gilbert O'Sullivan, America, The Beatles, The Eagles and Neil Diamond at the top of my list. I write songs, some folk think I do ok, while others are probably too kind to tell me what they really think, but no matter what I still love writing songs and producing demos.

I beleive that Music has NO color. thats why one of the best jazz players ever is Louis Armstrong and the best rapper ever is eminem. it doesnt matter what color you are you can do anything in music. it has no color. and no matter what people say keep on reaching for the stars and practicing. people called eminem a cracker, spat in his face, and told him he was a joke that couldnt sell one CD. but look at him now hes a multi platinum artist with 3 grammys and 5 multi million albums.

i don't care who you are and how bad you may start out at something, if you practice and build up you will become better and the world will become known of who you are. that's what i believe and that goes for everything.
