Apsyd - Psy R Rahman - Bombay theme (psygressive remix)

Apsyd is the artwork of Siddarth Puthcode Sivaraman, a multi-molecular being raised listening to the sounds of Vedic hymns and mantras. 

He graduated in DJing at the ILM Academy (now known as the Music’SCool) in 2010 under the guidance of legendary DJ Sean Dsouza from Bangalore. Starting his DJ career at the age of 17 as a resident DJ at renowned venues in Bangalore playing Hip-Hop, Bollywood, Minimal, House and Retro Rock, he then moved on to dedicating his ears to psytrance after his expeditions in Goa during the 2012 season. He then spent two years in Kuwait where he seriously pursued the study of the psyience in different states of consciousness. He then travelled back home for his first festival called Atmik Ritual, Kodaikanal which opened his mind to a higher purpose with grounded realities. Ever since, parallel to his full time jobs as a corporate Ninja, he has been transmitting psychedelic frequencies for the humble purpose of love and joy, mostly for friends, family and cats.

Embracing the mystical depths of the inner cosmos, KachaMacha's diverse musical style captivates with a healthy dose of forbidden fruits and ambrosia. Amit's journey into the world of electronic music began at the age of 5 when he had his first encounter with the mesmerizing melodies of electronica. Later during his late teenage years, Amit discovered psytrance by living a stone's throw away from the bustling scene in Goa.

Since 2012, his unwavering passion for high-quality psychedelic trance has propelled him to share his musical enchantment with audiences across various Canadian festivals. With performances at Solstice, Timeless, Open Mind, Freaks Paradise, 6th Dimension, and Forest Therapy, Amit has consistently left crowds spellbound, delving deep into the realm of sonic euphoria.

With each set, he takes listeners on kaleidoscopic sonic journeys, blending whimsical touches and atmospheric essence. Mentally dancing between the realms of light and dark. With the theme of it being a ride, never stopping at one station for too long.

KachaMacha fearlessly explores ever-evolving vibrant hi-tech sounds, while also embracing twilight, psytech, Zenon and downtempo. As a DJ and compiler affiliated with Post Modern Music - India, he released his debut compilation album "Purusha" in December 2021, featuring his influences of Audiosyntax, Oroboro, Terranoise, Kaya and a handful of close friends. As a founding member of the Psykitten Collective in London and the OddeyeSea Collective in Victoria, his dedication to the psychedelic movement is unwavering.

His alter-ego side project called Trus@migo delivers deep and slow afro-latin-influenced sounds to touch the heart and caress the feet. Amit also serves as the chef behind Full Power Chai, delivering a tantalizing blend of spicy Indian masala chai that ignites a fiery explosion of flavours on your palate.
