Avi Peled and Mishel Biton -an Israeli trance band were active between 1997-2000.the first album 'figure of sound' was signed for the Krembo Records label and was released in ‘98 with great responds worldwide. After 20 years we're here again :)

02 Intelligence Gone

Hello, my name is Avi Peled.
I started creating electronic music in 1996 under the name SIDEFFECT.
In '97, Mishel Bitton (sonichaos) and I teamed up and created the TODRA project.
At first we released a number of tracks in various collections under the name ATOMIC LENS / TODRA and in 1998 our first album FIGURE OF SOUND was released on Krembo Records.
 The album received good reviews in Israel and around the world and bombed the dance floors ...
* Two tracks on the album were mine under the name 'sideffect'.

A year later we were working on another TODRA album  project But unfortunately it was not released for various reasons...
but then, after 20 years, when the band no longer exists, Dat Records contacted me and the hidden album was released after raising dust for more than 20 years ... hence the name of the album
 "DUST FROM THE PAST"
In those years I continued to create and release a few tracks under the name SIDEFFECT  and also together with Mishel (safi connection) and Micha Yosef (echotek / reflex).
In 2011, I released a number of tracks in the psy / full-on genre in a project of a band I was a member of (uno-serpental) along with tetrium / clean noise.

And yet, a lot of my music was never released and the opportunity to pull them out of the drawer, has now arrived ...

For the past 20 years I have been a certified therapist in Chinese medicine and acupuncture, I do not create music due to lack of time, but I returned to play as a DJ at parties under the name TODRA and sideffect with lots of old pieces that were never released ...
who knows ? Maybe I'll return to the studio one day in the future ...
