SWELLS is an Austin, TX based duo consisting of Taylor Baker and Drew Walker. Combining Taylor’s dreamy, yet powerful vocals with Drew’s intricate guitar work, the duo has solidified their electronic, indie-pop sound. Influencers such as Phantogram, Sylvan Esso, and Glass Animals shine through on all of the tracks. They’ve played Austin City Limits Music Festival, SXSW, Float Fest, among other notable venues around the U.S.

love+war: Coury Palermo & Ron Robinson  

love+war is the brain-child of writer-producer team Coury Palermo & Ron Robinson.  The Nashville based duo returns this year with their sprawling, covers concept album, Nine Lives.  
 
What began as a hold-over album while writing and recording their debut full-length quickly became an “all attention,” multi-format tour de force.  There was little left unturned while curating this meticulous collection, which boasts a nine-song album (available on CD/Vinyl below!), short-story themed portrait book (Portrait Novella - also below!), and video trilogy.

Chosen from a list of over fifty contenders, the nine songs span an eclectic artist roster from the 70’s (Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way”), 80’s (Springsteen’s “Dancing In the Dark”), 90’s (Depeche Mode’s “Policy of Truth”), and early 00’s (Coldplay’s “Trouble”) – creating a seamless collection of soulful classics.

R.I.P. Jamies Bea 2013-2015

As an in-house engineer for one of London's top underground studios, and a local favourite on dub DAB stations, J.B. has donned secret disguise and is bringing his unique blend of deep-electronica and indie-pop songwriting to the masses. His first track, the upbeat sizzler 'tw10' (named for his favorite postal area in the capitol) has innovation written all over it, from the stylistic sub-throb of the re-taped 909's and funk guitar, effortlessly melting into roomverb-drenched vocals and sonic squelches of abrupt, abstract bleeps, blips and blops. Then there's 'sound off surrey, a ballad-tastic slower groover, combines more of the experimental, surprising production elements into an even catchier, poppier, saxophone-laiden ambient masterpiece. More recently, he put out his take on r&b-meets-alternative-ambience in the shape of 'dreams', a full-on glitch-soul sound incorporating live drum sounds, his signature deep-tuned bass and an infection melody, a modern-day cult classic and this years answer to 'Jasmine'. When asked about his sound, he simply shrubs and, without a pause of though, simply utters, "Not sure, just what I hear, you know, before I make it appear". Recently, he added an upbeat, ear-piercing, percussive-drenched funk-hop-step blistering banger to his page, entitled 'right way', quite ironically on Christmas Eve. Fans felt he was offering them an evening present. Others felt he was merely trolling them. His thoughts? "When I fixed the phase issues on the multi-tracks, sorted the crest factor of the master and balanced the RMS levels, as things turned out, it wasn't that long 'till Santa was going to arrive. It seemed like it was time to let the track go." Just before Easter (one week to be precise) he uploaded what could be described as his most ambitious offering yet, a funk-tastic, downtempo, chilled-out bubbler of a hit, drowning in tape-like warmth, saturation and darkness, with tight, polished, minimal and modern edge. "That track came out quite quickly, but it took weeks to whittle the perfect mix down. I think I must have listened to it 30 or 40 times whilst walking around, just to make sure it was bang-on." And we are all very grateful he did.

Reuben Walton is an artist and singer/songwriter based in New England. He is a graduate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood's Independent Artist and Electronic Music Production certificate programs and is also a graduate of UMass Lowell’s Music Business undergraduate program.
Walton's involvement in music has been a long-term fervent passion, originally as a welcome escape from troubles at both home and school, gradually developing his Pop instincts in an alternate creative zone. As a vocalist, he has been a member of a variety of choral ensembles and also became inspired by unorthodox lyrical and tonal mavericks of the time such as Björk and Portishead. His early production work naturally gravitated toward creating sonically experimental and cinematic musical worlds, followed by a shift toward free-flowing explorations in Hip-Hop and atmospheric R&B. His agile ear for melody and rhythm is the common element unifying his body of work. Career highlights thus far have included performances at UMass Lowell's annual Mothers of Rock concert and various venues in Massachusetts and the Greater Boston area. 
In 2019 he released a self-titled EP in collaboration with LA-based producer AVLI Music and since then has been releasing singles, with more to come on the horizon.

My name is Jeremy and I write music as Buhu. Sometimes I perform with my wife, Tiffany. Writing music has become a ritual I use to analyze my existence and better myself. I am consistently concerned with opening up my life and exploring the depths (and shallows) of my being. Music has provided me a needed outlet to be vulnerable about my faults, dreams and feelings. I am thankful for finding my voice. I am thankful for my passion in creating and I am thankful for my openness to evolution of process. Through it, I have found my providence. The resulting compositions of which celebrate my loves, losses, excavations and observations of the natural. I don’t expect my songs to have popular effect or to be celebrated, but I release them to all who will listen, and I am profoundly moved by anyone who finds value in my music. 
 
I will be releasing the Providence EP winter 2020.
