Solo Tyree was born in Bronx New York and grew up in Mobile, Alabama. Solo Tyree and his brother were separated from his mother at a young age but were untied when they both were older. Solo Tyree  and the family went through hard times but didn’t start doing music until he got older. He learned his music talents by watching his younger brother and kept practicing his craft.
