Ive been into house/dance music in one form or another since the early 90s firstly as a fan and self confessed Raver. 

In 1994 I bought my first set of dex and taught myself how to mix.

Over the next few years I found myself playing at a host of local bars before setting up my own event in 1999.

This event saw the ‘FunkyDory DJ’s’ collective win numerous Welsh Dance Music awards and establish ourselves as ‘the place to be’ before heading off to the clubs.

Our accolades include being voted Wales’ Best Pre-club Bar two years running, with residencies at all Cardiff’s main events. Playing for the like of Time Flies, Lamerica, Bionic, ROAR & Enter the Dragon, to name but a few.

Other memorable gigs include warming up for Paul Oakenfold, John Kelly & Jon of the Pleased Women @ the Enter the Dragon Reunion Party's Cardiff, warming up for Madam Friction @ the breakfast club Penarth and hosting our own monthly backroom @ nights such as Lamerica, Bionic and Enter the Dragon.

I recently lost all of my back catalogue live & Studio mixes in a fatal Hard Drive incident and im currently looking to refill my profile with all new mixes...

Boards of Canada is a Scottish electronic music duo comprised of brothers Mike Sandison (b. 1 June 1970) and Marcus Eoin (b. 21 July 1971). 

They have released a number of works, most notably Music Has the Right to Children and Geogaddi, with little advertising and few interviews. Their sound has frequently made reference to sounds of the 1970s and the 1980s. It recalls, amongst other things, the warm, scratchy, artificial sounds of 1970s television, and indeed, band members Michael and Marcus admit to being inspired by the documentary films of the National Film Board of Canada, from which the group's name comes.
