The Bas[s]ment is an intimate, raw and underground club-like venue, located in a large industrial building in Amsterdam-West.

The Bas[s]ment is founded during the first Covid lockdown time. The concept was to give DJs a place to express themselves during Covid lockdown thru live streaming. Since we started more then 125 dj's from all over of the world played at the bas[s]ment. Although the Bas[s]ment started out small with only one camera and a few lights, it has evolved into a complete studio set-up with 4 full hd cameras, stunning visuals, a kick-ass high-quality sound system and a club-worthy light system. Recently we've decided that music is always better 'shared' with dancing people. So we've evolved again. We now bring you the possibility to have a live audience present during your DJ sets, in boiler room-style. The last 2 years we were also selected as an ADE official venue!
