Israeli music producer with over 12 years of expertise in crafting diverse psychedelic trance named Amitai Azarzar.

Amitai began his journey in the goa trance scene under the name Goaticmind, exploring new-school Goa trance and melodic variations of the genre. As his skills and artistry matured, he developed two distinct projects that reflect his deep passion for psychedelic music:

RETROGEEK

A project born out of love for the golden days of old-school Goa trance from the 90s. RETROGEEK combines classic nostalgic elements with a modern production edge. This project delivers dynamic rhythms, and revitalized energy, reimagining the essence of Goa trance for today’s audience while maintaining its timeless roots.

GROOVE BOX

Through GROOVE BOX, Amitai channels his creativity into the world of psytrance, focusing on driving basslines, hypnotic melodies, and cutting-edge sound design . With sound signature of every culture in the world.
This project is dedicated to exploring the full spectrum of psychedelic trance and cultures all around the world and get unite with every one.

Both projects represent Amitai’s to pushing boundaries while staying true to the heart of psychedelic music. Together, RETROGEEK and GROOVE BOX showcase his versatility as a producer and his ongoing contribution to the global trance scene.

It's the skilful play with moods and sound colours that creates a one-of-a-kind suspense on Alexander Dorkian's new album. The rolling force of heavy bass lines meets fluffy and light pad sounds. At one moment the atmosphere is dominated by rhythmically swirling synth chords, shortly thereafter they morph into elegant melodies.

Every title on the album is characterized by this organic modulation between full throttle dance floor power and trancy easiness. Additionally there is a great variation from one track to another, thanks to various collaborations with renowned colleagues and some remixes of proved and tested Progressive bangers.
