¿Qué necesito hoy de mí?  vestirme de rojo, ser creación, moverme desde el vientre. Habitar el inmenso vacío, penetrar el magma, amar la hoja en blanco.

¿Cómo sucede el tiempo? La palabra reúne la atmósfera cuando se coloca en el vacío. El transitar entre lo interno y lo externo, es el cuerpo, esa membrana sutil que percibe la luz y le da forma al misterio.

"Imogen Cunningham: A Retrospective" showcases the endless innovation and profound influence of this remarkable photographer who pushed the boundaries for both women in the arts and photography as an art form. Nearly 200 of Cunningham’s insightful portraits, elegant flower and plant studies, poignant street pictures, and groundbreaking nudes present a singular vision developed over seven decades of work. The first major retrospective in the United States of Cunningham’s work in 35 years, the exhibition examines on the artist’s Seattle upbringing and includes works by female artists such as Ruth Asawa and Martha Graham who Cunningham championed, as well as works by Group f/64 which she helped found with Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, and others. Cunningham’s spark of creative possibility asserted photography as a distinct and valuable art form in the 20th century.

i aspire for a robust tranquility within, ataraxia

i open my dreams as a theatrical practice
i swallow the eggs of drowned skinless sirens
i’m indifferent to politics
i rebel against capitalism, stock market and social injustices
i’m melancholic of the past, optimistic about the future
i feel the sublime now
i record sounds because i feel my memory is failing me
i feel i’m dying
i feel a divine queen
i explore the veil of the subconscious
i revisit manifestos to find where i stand
this is the epoch of spirituality, choosing to see the sublime and beautiful
to un-know what was affecting an asynchronous ripple
listen, listen, listen deeper, laugh a bit more
and let the essential breathe
stand in between the threshold of practice, risk and reality

become aware of this waking dream
