The WWW band originated in Prague in the beginning of 90s, i.e. in the period of the Communist regime fall in the then Czechoslovakia. WWW was one of the first bands experimenting with rap in the CR. Later on it started to work with live instruments and diverted from the classic rap production. In 2000 the WWW suspended its activities and its members dedicated themselves to their further professions – the WWW founder Ondřej Anděra is a film director and the text writer Lubomír Typlt is a painter. The WWW returned to the scene with the debut album of Neurobeat in 2006, under the BiggBoss independent label. The WWW choose the way of presentation through the author’s stylization and definition of hip-hop as a space for authenticity. Neurobeat was published as the second Czech dual disk, which contains also the author’s clip production of the band. The visual production of the WWW is also being presented in important art galleries. Music of the WWW fuses the procedures of hip-hop, industrial, electronics and free composition in an original way. Texts of Lubomír Typlt provoke the auditorium to take pains with their imagination, their poignancy is augmented by a wide
scale of poetic and phonetic means. Texts of Ondřej Anděra exploit the rhythmic possibilities of language at abstract level. For several times the WWW were the headliners of big music festivals in both the Czech and Slovak republics.
WWW published three studio albums, appreciated by critics in both the Czech and Slovak republics. They were nominated for several music awards - for instance the Angel, and they obtained the prestigious art
award of the Revolver Revue. They represented the Czech cultural background for the Czech centres in Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, Netherlands, in France, participating for instance in festivals of Eurosonic Noorderslag 2009 and in Paris in the Féte de la musique 2009. In 2014 the WWW performed successfully in the Swiss towns of Basel and Luzern, invited by the Museum Tinguely. The WWW are also sought-after as creators of the film and theatre music. The WWW were addressed by, and in the course of their existence they have succeeded in the role of the forerunner of the artists such as: The Goats, Sinéad O'Connor, Antipop Consortium, Dj Hudson Mohawke, Boys Noize, Public Enemy..
