Akkord began as a shadowy collective with an espoused passion for mathematics and sacred geometry, crafting intelligent and beautifully oppressive electronic music. Eventually revealed as a collaboration between experienced Mancunian bass producers Synkro and Indigo, 'Akkord' blurs the lines between junglist revivalism, smoky ambience, and suctioned dub, with a consistently engaging pulse linking the styles. Wassup everybody, i've decided today to post a lil collection of tracks i've been sitting on since the summer.
"In Betweens" , stands for the tracks i made in between shows, on my little breaks in the tour times.
I kept hesitating, and really wanting to perfect some of the parts to these for a while, but I've been realising that this material has been keeping me from focusing on the new stuff i'm working on at the moment.
So im letting go of my crazy perfectionism maniac side, and setting these tunes free.
i dont really feel like revising them and editing them at all anymore, they been written , played out , even mastered,
so today i decided .... Fuck it , you guys should have em.
The minor imperfections i may have seen in these tunes, are for me just a part of the learning and growing process,
it doesnt really fucking matter in the end, im just a self-taught dude, who loves music, and I made these  as best i could at the time.
Its only gonna get better!
So enjoy ,
and Thanks to all of you who have been listening and supporting, and bigups to everyone else out there making dope beats and keeping me inspired :)

'Symbolic' established by Ilan Shemi & Osh Ben Simon aka DJ Osho during the middle of the year 2011. Shpongle - A New Way To Say 'hooray'

Sigil, aka Andrew, expresses his inner self in sonic form. It turns out that his inner self is quite patient and elegant, unlike the clumsy meat-suited human that stumbles around Earth. 

He has enjoyed bleary moments waiting around airports in order to perform all over Europe at festivals such as Boom (Portugal), Ozora (Hungary), Anthropos (UK), Kosmos (Finland), Egodrop/Goa Dupa (Poland), SUN (Hungary), Sonica (Italy), Festival Harmonic (France) and of course Suti (though he drives to that one).
 
Andrew has two other musical projects - psy-techno "Unicorn Hunters" with Seb G, and experimental semi-improvised live act "AMP Project" with Patrick Ferreira (clarinet) and Marco Rosa (violin). He is also one of the main disorganisers of Suti Festival, a small gathering focused on cutting edge psychedelic music in Portugal. As "Sigil Audio" he works on sound design projects for digital artists. He lucked out in being welcomed into the epically good label Merkaba Music and rather lovely Portuguese chill collective "Moondance". 

Sigil lists his sense of humour among his strengths, while writing biographies for himself in the third person sits firmly on the side of his weaknesses. If you join his Patreon he will show you some ways to get a computer to make silly noises for you.
