Symphonic Demo V

Recreation-by-ear of 'Brasiliana', a 'light orchestral' composition by Cor Lemaire from the late 1950's or early 1960's, using Apple Logic and Spitfire Audio's BBCSO Core orchestral library.

I created this as a tribute to Cor Lemaire, to become more familiar with the BBCSO library and to get a feeling for how the orchestration of the original was achieved.

The track starts with the tuning sounds from the original audio (taken from a television registration) and fades into the recreated version a few seconds later. After the music ends the original ambient studio sound fades back in for a few seconds.

This is a remaster of the original Atrus' Escape demo track. This is a demo soundtrack set to the events right before the beginning of MYST. Atrus is making his escape off of Riven, fleeing as Gehn is attempting to steal the Myst linking book away. However, Atrus is able to make his escape just in time to jump into the newly opened star fissure and link off the age while Gehn is now trapped on a collapsing, solar eclipsed Riven.

I was inspired by track "Everything Is Going to Be Okay" from one of my favorite games "Prey". This track was composed and arranged by me.

This is a fourth BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover demo featuring a cinematic style symphonic composition with deep bass and high strings. This demo mainly focuses on the interchanging dynamics and timbre of winds and brass instruments to create interesting color and texture to the music. This demo is part of the #ONEORCHESTRA campaign for Spitfire Audio as well as Spitfire Audio's #LABSCOMMUNITY.
