My DJ set from Creatures of the Night on the 3rd of November. As always I had a great time, and thank you to the Silent Partner crew for having me.

Signal Loop - DJ set recorded at Creatures of the Night

Signal Loop has been DJing in and around the Victorian bush doof scene for a number of years now, surrounding dance-floors with a unique blend of high-calorie techno and chunky driving progressive, which results in an auditory experience that builds from start to finish. Signal Loop's personal philosophy on DJing revolves around combining a selection of high quality hand picked tunes, and focusing on crafting smooth transitions so that each track has space to breath and show it's true colors.

While we could say that he has been exposed to a wide range of music through the course of his life, and first started experimenting with the controls on his parents old walnut-veneered record player at a tender young age, we won't. But what we will say is that over the years he has developed a strong understanding of what is needed to engage an audience with a distinctive array of sounds, that develop and evolve from the beginning to the end of his sets, regardless of whether he plays on vinyl or CDJs.
