Carisma is a Buenos Aires-based duo of djs and producers formed by Ismael Pinkler and Carolina Stegmayer. 

Having released two EPs through Cómeme, Carisma´s tracks have been featured in several compilations and they have made many remixes for fellow musicians and contemporaries. 

Carisma produce music especially for their dj sets, planning each piece to create special moments in the dancefloor and looking for sounds they can´t find in already existing music. 
Carisma´s style in the dj booth is in constant evolution; they shape their sound while performing, mixing current developments with friends´ fresh tunes, obscure classics and unreleased music in a hypno-energetic techno mood.

Carisma have won a special place in the South American underground scene, constantly playing in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. 

They have also travelled up North to present their music in European spots such as Boiler Room (London), About Blank (Berlin), Griessmuehle (Berlin), Wilde Renate (Berlin), Salon des Amateurs (Dusseldorf), Institut Fuer Zukunft (Leipzig), Le Sucre (Lyon), Red Light Radio (Amsterdam), The Art School (Glasgow), Moog (Barcelona). 
They have also been playing in Mexican super classic clubs Hard Pop (Ciudad Juárez), Topaz Deluxe (Monterrey), Mono, Rhodesia and Departamento (México City), Kin Kin (Guadalajara) and Wherehouse (Tijuana).

In order to get a rough idea on what Jannowitz records' newest EP is all about just take a look at the title. “Breakout EP” already gives away everything you need to know. Because this EP is a real breakout EP - having three brand new artists for the label: Gayle San, GRAU and Christian Craken. 

Christian Craken runs the PHOBIA label in Bulgaria, and kindly took some of his precious time to work with “Palmetto”. It will take moment until you realize that “Palmetto” is really underneath his remix but once the catchy melody starts you will get what happened. And isn't that what a good remix is all about? Creating something new from tearing apart something already existing.

Space 92 is back on @umek's label 1605 (@sixteenofive) with a two-track solo EP after recently featuring on one of the imprints mixed artist releases.

2020 has been a massive year for French artist Space 92 who has dominated sales charts on leading stores such as Beatport. His remix of “Bass In Your Face” by Twins Project spent many weeks at No.1 and he followed this up with an equally successful collaboration with The YellowHeads.

Also featuring on the Cosmic Boys' Legend and Spartaque's Codex Recordings between releases on his own Perfekt Groove Recordings, this new EP on 1605 continues to see him assert himself as one of the main breakthrough artists of the last twelve months.

With a chunky production style of mammoth proportions, his titanic techno style fuses in your face synth lines with pounding percussion.

“Dune” opens the release with a thundering kick drum and a heavy sub bass that will shake the concrete from the walls. Leading towards the euphoria of the breakdown, it builds tension before slamming back in with a ferocious energy perfect for a hands in the air moment.

SIGNATE is a picture of where electronic music has brought it. Martin has been working on music for 10 years now, and now he feels that this is his own signature, in which he really found himself. As he himself says, being free and happy in what a person does is the most important of all. For Martin, music is the meaning of life and a music genre like techno gives him this freedom.

Everything has to make sense in his life, and it is doubly true in music. Therefore, his pseudonym has two meanings. The first is an abbreviation of word “signature” as the signature or manuscript that it wishes to present. The second meaning is from Latin, where the word “signate” means thematic, as does the Tech Essence project, which is very closely linked to it. It is the theme that gives the project a deeper meaning because it can create something new and give an element such as techno its own signature - SIGNATE!
