Significant Kids have kicked it up a notch on the local Brisbane DnB scene and spread it out internationally - complete with a New Zealand tour. These spritely lads demonstrated the ANZAC spirit as Paul applied the phat beats with Shane grinding the dirty rythems. 

Its not surprising that Paul (DJ Hanm) is a weapon with the beats having been pounding on the pig skins since 9 years of age when his father bought him his first drum kit. Throw in guitar and bass along the way and you have someone who knows his stuff. In 1995 the Aussie bloke got it all twisted when a Pommie DJ mate introduced him to 3 innocent audio cassette tapes filled with Drum and Bass. Since then the man has been experimenting with different styles and methods until along came a young Kiwi bro... 

Shane (Atomic Dog) is a mad Kiwi with a hard rock and metal influence in his younger years where he was corrupted with the likes of Iron Maiden and AC/DC. But it wasn't until he moved to Brisbane where music is culture that he found a desire to make his own music. His tortured rythems were first wrought by software samplers and drum machines from freeware disks on the back of computer music magazines. Combine this self-taught methodology under the influence of the local rave/hardcore scene and he was soon developing the skills that would see his dreams of being a part of a recognized team being fulfilled. 
Everything became dark and distorted when Shane was introduced to the local Brisbane Drum n Bass scene. Soon after his music production took a step up after meeting DJ Hanm (Paul) through a mutual friend (Lincoln) from well known local artists (Static n Lincoln) and Significant Kids were borne kicking and screaming from the void. 

For the past seven years these two have been putting in a huge amount of hours and sinking an ocean worth of beer while working on a comprehensive collection of tunes. As is always the case when two musical genii become successful, there are a myriad of distractions as the requests to work collaboratively with other artists come flowing in. This has lead to a fork in the road for Significant Kids. While this is not an end to Significant Kids as a force in the local DnB scene, neither artist can confirm when their respective projects and participation with other artists will be finalized.

So, as a HUGE THANK YOU to their fans and all the people in their lives that have supported them, they have undertaken the initiative to make their entire completed works available for download FOR FREE!!! They hope you enjoy this special release and that you understand how appreciative your support has been for now and in to the future.

With over 30 years experience as a professional DJ and producer, Fierce’s impact on DnB has been undeniable, since the No-U Turn & Virus era of the mid-to-late 1990s, in genre defining collaborations with Ed Rush, Optical, Matrix & Nico including “Alien Girl” and "Locust". 

Alongside further releases and remixes, he is also responsible for starting the now infamous Quarantine imprint, which played a pivotal role in the early-2000's sound. Whilst collaborating with the likes of Break, dBridge, Fresh & Optiv, the label has been a bastion of dark, quality drum & bass, releasing modern classics from Noisia, Cause4Concern & S.P.Y.

Fierce returns to re-launch Quarantine, committed to providing quality over quantity with a batch of new material (With Zero T).

Over the past couple of years Gouki has become a rising star in the drum and bass scene. This Birmingham based producer is known for his signature blend of sub genres. After a catalogue of self releases, he eventually caught the interest of major labels such as Gorilla warfare and Allstars Raw.

Gouki began his music career performing in multiple bands at an early age but quickly fell involve with electronic music. After Graduating with a bachelors in music production he began to produce a range of high quality music. After a few years of developing his sound, he settled on a combination of dnb styles. 

Gouki is typically known for his jump up sounds but tends not lean to heavy into any one sub genre. Usually combining Neurofunk drums with rolling heavy basses, He aims to hit multiple themes while staying true to his artistic vision. 

Anyone who’s followed Gouki’s career has noticed the recurring Japanese themes throughout his music. Wether it be through samples or artwork , he’s always kept a strong eastern vibe to his persona. Despite being a relatively new producer the dnb scene has welcomed his arrival with great enthusiasm of whats to come.
