As a gnarly, spacious derivative of garage and dub bubbled away in London’s dimly lit clubs, few producers can claim to have been involved as heavily in the genres’ ascendance to its position as the most significant movement in UK electronic music as Dubwoofa
Gaining notoriety for his use of ghostly percussion and exceptional reductionism, via his involvement with seminal label Dub Police and through frequent appearances on stations like BBC Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM and Scion AV, Dubwoofa gradually became one such imperative figure in the emergence of dubstep, with his releases receiving support from the likes of N-Type, Mary Anne Hobbs, The Others Caspa & Rusko
.
Still inspired by the macabre behaviours of humanity as well as by concepts of nature and occultism, the Norwegian has quietly continued to produce his unique take on a sound which is still deeply rooted in UK dubstep – some 14 years since his first releases back in 2006. We are honoured to welcome the return of Dubwoofa with a debut release on the label.

The Vapor Caves are a Texas-bred, R&B/modern funk outfit led by Yadira Brown (Keeper, 10yr, LAX) on vocals with BoomBaptist handling production. A “vapor cave” is a rarity in nature, found underground, billowing mineral-rich 
steam known for its magical healing properties. The duo proudly pays homage to this natural phenomenon, synthesizing medicine for those who enter. They just completed their debut release, “Feel Yourself”, which saw the group tour North America and support funk legend, Dam-Funk.
