As a band, our primary focus is the live performance; and with Two Rooms - EP, we aimed to create an honest portrayal of our music just as we play it. On a small budget, we committed ourselves to recording Two Rooms in two days at Big Orange Studio, and to tracking all of the songs live. 

Perhaps unconventional, the ten song EP is comprised of five improvised sketches (Chautauqua, Rhombus, Movements, and Two Rooms), one soundscape (Wild Senna), and four live-recorded songs (Scout, Riverburn, Amarillo and Headrush). Thus Two Rooms - EP paints a genuine picture. It is an introductory glimpse into both who we are and what we want to do together as musicians. 

Riley Engemoen, a great friend of ours and an incredible filmmaker, filmed us in the studio and made a video that premiered via Pop Press International (www.poppressinternational.com/2014/04/16/post-rock-band-chipper-jones-video-premiere-amarilloheadrush/) and can be viewed here: vimeo.com/91907041.

Sorry I've been MIA to all my listeners, I've been busy with life lately, but more importantly, I've been finishing up the new album for @scarletveilmusic and we are nearing the final stages before release. I've been wanting to remaster this song for awhile because it was the first track that really got any attention when I started releasing Witch House and Wave, and it's still one of my personal favorites.
