5Rhythms transcends dance. The movement is the medicine, the meditation and the metaphor. Through movement we peel back layers, lay masks down, and dance till we disappear…Only to rediscover ourselves through it all.

This is my Thursday night set at the Yoga Om Stage at Lightning in a Bottle 2016. It was epic and off the hook. Over 1,000 people went on this magical medicine journey.

»Ein Fuchs muss tun was ein Fuchs tun muss.« und so strolcht er in den Tiefen der weiten, musikalischen Wäldern umher, erschrickt ab und an die wilden Hühner vom Bauern oder lässt sich jagen, doch nur nicht erwischen. Ein schlauer Fuchs ist eben auch kein Rudeltier und macht es sich somit immer mal wieder allein in seinem Fuchsbau gemütlich. Dort hört er die Musik die er so liebt; die Musik, verspielt und tief von Unten heraus, denn so ein Mix muss fett (frei zitiert nach den Füchsen von irgendwelchen Beginner’n) ;) … ja, da fragt ihr euch zurecht: was hat der Käpt’n https://soundcloud.com/rolandson denn da bloss wieder geraucht? und was labert der kauzig, bärtige Typ denn da? … nun, dann will ich euch das gerne mal erklären; denn in so einem Fuchsbau, da ist es wie in einer urigen Kapitäns-Kajüte, es muss muckelig warm sein, es muss immer ausreichend Gin gelagert sein und es muss Musik laufen. Auch diese Woche hab ich wieder Sonne und Harmonie im Gepäck. Florian Rietze ist gerade auf einem langen Asien-Trip unterwegs und schickt uns seinen musikalischen Reisebericht aus dem Norden Thailands.
 
Florian begleitet mich auf soundcloud schon fast von Anfang an. Immer wieder überzeugt der gebürtige Potsdamer mit seinen grandiosen und stimmigen Produktionen und Remixen, unteranderem für Steyoyoke, Délicieuse Musique, URSL oder meine Freunde von Amselcom. 

Musik war ihm quasi schon in die Wiege gelegt … und man merkt sofort, dass er ein Vollblut-Musiker ist. Seine Mixe überzeugen immer durch Raffinesse, Tempowechsel und diese einzigartige Fähigkeit Geschichten zu erzählen. Auch dieser Mix hat mal wieder alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen, von Anfang bis Ende Harmonie PUR.
