For over a decade, Barcelona-born DJ and producer Bastian Bux has sought to construct a story with house music that winds fluidly through its subgenres. He's always maintained a philosophy that house music is universal, and its power lies within the abilities of those who can shape sonic clay into peak dancefloor moments. As a result, Bastian's freewheeling approach to creation and curation sees him breaking down the walls between funky, disco, minimal, and tech house, adopting an approach that recalls the OGs, whose only concern was telling a story and making
people move.

Even before his debut in 2015, he was cultivating sonics that pulled from a diverse universe of sound. Beit the memory of techno pounding through the walls of his sister's bedroom that first drew him to dance music or the technicolor explosions of confetti that spring from the stages of the venues he's played around the world as a resident of the wonderfully absurd Spanish party outfit elrow—these moments all serve as inspiration. A technical wizard, and worldbuilder behind the decks, he's dazzled dancers at some of the best clubs and festival, from Tomorrowland in Belgica to the glittery Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas and even the historic closing party at the legendary Space Ibiza.

His eclectic approach has made him a sought-after producer who's been able to spread his sound through some of dance music's most revered labels, including Eats Everything's Edible, elrow Music, Cuartero's Sanity, and of course, his own Neverendz. The diversity of his catalog is reflected in the broad range of artists who have supported his tracks, from the funky disco vibes of his collab with Baum, "About Us," to the hip-hop-tinged minimal tech of "Dear Club." Acts like Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Michael Bibi, Danny Howard, Gorgon City, and Joseph Capriati have featured Bastian's tunes in their mixes and sets on stages around the world.

Artist Biographie 
DAVID GOMEZ (Groov|it / Cologne)

The Palma-born DJ shares a long term relationship with music and it’s probably safe to say that we talk about deep passion here. His musical roots cover various genres - late 80s & early 90s Synthie Pop, New Wave and Electronic Body Music, just to name a few. The names ‚Kraftwerk’ , Front 242‘ and ‚Depeche‘ Mode are probably just enough to give an impression of the style that he spent countless nights with as a DJ playing in Clubs in and around Cologne and Düsseldorf in the 90s. Today, he plays mainly Deep House, Micro House and Minimal, but straight Techno and a secret love for Downtempo are also part of his musical identity. Careful listeners will recognize his early DJing days in the sets he plays today. 
Nowadays David Gomez refreshes the scene with a new series of events, called Groov|it, at Artheater Cologne, beginning in spring 2022. Groov|it was founded in 2021 by David Gomez and David Hasert with the purpose to celebrate underground house music.

Denny S steht seit 30 Jahren hinterm Mischpult und hat schon so manche House-, Techno- und Trancephase miterlebt. Doch eins ist ihm stets auf seinem langen Weg als Raver und vor allem als DJ treu geblieben, die Melodie, denn ohne geht eigentlich nichts in seinen Sets. Eintönigkeit und Belanglosigkeit in Tracks mag er so gar nicht. Es muss was passieren, was ihn kitzelt. 

Nachdem sich die Tanz- & Firlefanz-Crew 2019 zurückzog, schloss er sich der Zwischenmiete-Crew an, die regelmäßig das Artheater mit melodischen Klängen und ihrer wunderschönen Deko und Herzlichkeit verzaubert. Wo wir beim Thema wären: Melodic Techno – dafür schlägt Dennys Herz, denn genau da sind die Elemente der elektronischen Musik drin, die für ihn den Kitzel ergeben und die für ihn die Musik ein ums andere Mal zu einem echten Lebenselixier werden lassen. 

Denny S has been standing behind the mixing desk since 30 years and has experienced some house, techno and trance phases. But one thing is always true to him on his long way as raver and especially as DJ, the melody, because without it nothing in his sets works. Monotony and triviality in tracks, he doesn't like it at all. Something has to happen to make him tickles somehow. After the Tanz- & Firlefanz-Crew retired in 2019, he joined the Zwischenmiete-Crew, who regularly opened the Artheater with melodic electronic music and their beautiful decoration and cordiality enchanted. Which brings us to the subject: Melodic techno - that's what Denny's heart beats for.
