"Black Series" represents the raw, stripped-back and mysterious layers of Micronica’s journey. This collection features tracks that showcase a deeper, more intense dimension - from hypnotic rhythms to subtle grooves that will captivate both body and mind.

Playing a set in the techno capital is prestigious, but it can be demanding. Even a roaring crowd may not fully recharge you. But not for Needle and Plate. Spontaneity has always been the hallmark of this unstoppable duo. A few inspiring photos were all it took to book a flight to a neighbouring country. Now they were playing tag hopping from a cobblestone to a cobblestone like those were some tiny islands. Narrow streets guided them through vibrant facades, terraces, bridges, and graffiti walls. A bottle of Soplica in hand meant that this evening was bound to be something special.

Their urban quest eventually came to an end, giving way to the magic of a neon-lit courtyard, and then to a serene riverside view. Warm air, the quacking of ducks, and the laughter of passersby slowed down the time itself. Needle and Plate sat silently watching the city lights ripple across the water. “Sometimes spontaneous decisions bring the best stories,” Needle said softly. Like a rare track played only once, Wrocław would forever remain not just a place, but a feeling.

"Dark and driving, these four tracks from Sonohat paint a monochromatic landscape tinted with mysterious melodies. "Nohemiann" sets the tone of the album with distorted chords and a whipping baseline. Next, fellow Romanian Vid's remix of "Nohemiann" subtly strips down the original with haunting, indiscernible whispers. On the B side, "Another Bottle of Wine" slurs vocals and drones to tell a textured story while the kick continues relentlessly. "Chains" returns to a groovy bassline and a nostalgic, yearning melody that reminds us how even the ability to turn everything to gold could, ultimately, be a curse."

In the endless sea of producers and selectors, only a few leave a lasting impression. They are the niche artists, individuals that push sonic boundaries into new territory with skill, and purpose. Over the last 5 years Silat Beksi has made quite the impression on minimal music lovers across the globe by doing just that. Utilising his own unique combination of rhythms & special imprinted textures to craft emotive and energetically charged pieces of music. This was recognized early on with labels like Romania’s Tzinah Records, Moscow’s Body Parts and Ukranian imprint Mulen Records offering him a platform through which to release and refine his musical style. In 2014 this culminated in the release of Silat's first full length album, with ten wondrously diverse minimalist cuts seeing a digital release on Mulen. Having achieved this milestone, the talented producer dedicated himself to the perfection of his craft with a renewed determination, going vinyl only and launching his own imprint Modeight Records in 2016.

Fast forward to the present and Silat Beksi has amassed an enviable body of 12” releases on his journey so far. Cementing himself as one of the most inform talents in Europes underground scene with releases on labels like Germany’s almighty Pleasure Zone, Welsh imprint Dreams Are Not Inside, What You Want, Vivus Records and of course his own imprint Modeight. His sound continues to morph and develop, defying classification with it's heady combination of techno’s rhythmic sensibility, breakbeat influence and warm atmospheric textures that hypnotise and excite.
