Born Silenced is a metal music project from Auckland, New Zealand, that combines metalcore with aspects of electronic and orchestral for a very unique sound.



In 2010, Rich created an instrumental album called The Colony Of Your Infected Heart, synthesising the drums, playing the guitar and bass and programming the electronic.
A version with more tracks and a new cover was released in 2014, containing 4 extra tracks.


After the release of The Colony Of Your Infected Heart, Rich decided to take some time out and start another project to improve his computer music skills, under the electronic music alias Kaushun.


In 2014, Rich started work on his second release as Born Silenced, called 'All For Nothing', which was later released in April, 2015.
It contains 10 tracks, some of which are re-works of track from his earlier release. The album sound is different to the previous one, featuring orchestral elements as well as electronic, and also is a heavier release on the metal side.

Also in 2014, all 4 original members from the Born Silence days agreed to get back together and record a 5 track ep, which was released in December 2015.


Rich continues to produce for Born Silenced from his new home Auckland, New Zealand.



Just a typical solo musician trying to get known. However, I am collaborating with Jed Katz on another project and I also feature him on a few of my own songs. I also Love Heavy metal, classic rock, and most variations of the modern rock scene.
