“Pure Chaos” is Silent Chaos' 4th studio album. Comprised of released singles, unreleased tracks, and works for installations, this 8-track album is incredibly organic and transports the listener on a deep journey into darkness, with cinematic obscure sounds and sepulchral drums, ancient rituals for this new era, Crowleyan influences and suggestions from the deep space. Silent Chaos' composition is based on performative improvisation framed in a pre-decided structure, thus their sound appears organised even if unpredictable, with ever-changing textured drones that hypnotise the listener.

Pure Chaos is going to be released on 23-01-23 on the usual digital streaming services, Bandcamp, and, most importantly, in a 12-page digipack UK universal physical release (and partial USA) by Code 7 distribution and in the Cold Spring Records warehouse and mail order listing.

Silent Chaos released their debut album “Micro” through Eclectic Productions (Italy) in 2017 and they were featured in four compilations; the second album “Osclltr 012” was released in 2018 through Berlin label Osclltr Records. Their third studio album “Macro”, has been released on Spring Equinox 2020 for the label WDGAF (UK). 

Silent Chaos did sonorizations for art exhibitions, composed for experimental theatre and live radio performances, and performed, with their audiovisual projects, in many venues across Italy and UK, such as Cryptic Nights, Sound Festival, Listen Again Festival, sonADA, Radiophrenia, Wagon, British Art Show.

01 - Silent Chaos - Cotard's Syndrome - The Waking Dead

Silent Chaos - http://silentchaos.co.uk/ - (Marta NoOne: modular synthesiser, vocals, FX, laptop and video programming & Ugo Vantini: electronic and acoustic drums and percussions, loops, samplers, field recording manipulation) is an experimental audiovisual project founded in Rome, IT, in 2016. Their music
expands in non-linear time, of conceptual and performing circularity: ancient and futuristic sounds advance in spirals. Their sound is structured but not predictable, in an impromptu composition based on channeling through improvisation. Past, present, and future times mash up in ancient
sonorities and electronic twisting, filtered through interpersonal musical experiences.
They released an album (“micro” - Eclectic Productions 2017), of which the track “Insania” has been used in two different compilations, three pieces, “Daedalus of Possibilities” - “Chains of Abyss” - “Cotard's Syndrome - The waking dead”, included in four international compilations, and an album “Osclltr 012” released in 2018 with the Berlin music label Osclltr Records. They have sonorized various art exhibitions, acted in theatrical and radio performances, and have performed, with their audiovisual show, at the Italian contemporary art museum MAAM and in various different venues.
Currently based in the north-east of Scotland, they have performed their work “Synbals” at the King’s College Chapel concert for Shift-Enter, a live coding and electroacoustic ensemble, and The University of Aberdeen Music Department.
They have also presented their composition “Schizophrenia in Schizophonia” in a live performance at the SERG International Postgraduate Research Conference 2018 “Sonic Realities” in Aberdeen.
They have performed with their A/V project “Permutations” at the Kirk of St. Nicholas Uniting in Aberdeen for the sonADA inTransit III, 3rd event.
They also have performed, with their new A/V project “Origins”, at the Glasgow’s CCA for Cryptic Nights on the 7th of March 2019. 

Marta NoOne 
is a musician and visual artist from Rome, Italy, engaged in an aestheticphilosophical style research that uses sounds and images to filter historical moment and related distress through her art, drawing from other possible etheric worlds. In this path she has organised unconventional events of electronic music and contemporary art, collaborated with several Italian artists of the Roman area in live and theatrical performances, and collaborated internationally for original soundtrack productions.

Ugo Vantini, 
eclectic drummer and producer of Rome, Italy, has collaborated with different groups of progressive rock extraction such as: Divae, Balletto Di Bronzo, Ezra Winston, VU Meters. He has shared the stage with artists of the caliber of B.M.S., Orme, Osanna, Gary Green (Gentle Giant), Jack Bruce (Cream), Area, Arena, Anekdoten, Carl Palmer (E.L.&P.), Jefferson Starship and many others. He worked with Entropia, a historic Italian band that offers electronic music contaminated by influences of various kinds, with Entropia Techno Department, the side project of Entropia exclusively oriented to techno, and label Eclectic Productions.

He also worked with Entropia, a historic Italian band that offers electronic music contaminated by influences of various kinds, with Entropia Techno Department, the side project of Entropia exclusively oriented to techno, and label Eclectic Productions. 
He currently works on a permanent basis with Silent Chaos, his experimental, avant-garde audiovisual project with Marta NoOne.
