Free and Creative Commons Music - Part 5

Sk’p is a name that is instantly recognizable to those who are into some speeded up, playful, incredibly clean but detailed glitch tunes and not a stranger to chiptune madness as well. But that's just one side of him. 
A very prolific and active producer hailing from Belgium, he decided to release on Crazy-Language a very different output from what he usually does, being slowing things down while still retaining his trademark sound of beautiful immediate melodies, clicky beats and a very precise song structure. 
Inside Astravel are half a dozen of smooth, slow-paced classic IDM compositions that take no time on getting a warm and fuzzy feeling out of you. It’s simple, effective and very fun to re-listen time and time again, so you can start digging deeper onto all the nifty little details that are present inside. Complementing the six solid tunes Sk’p has to offer, you can still count on a couple of remixes from two of the label’s finest: Huron and Enabl.ed. Fitting like a glove to Berlin’s finest net label, Sk’p is already at home. (F.G.)

"Dream Catcher" for us is something we would come back to throughout our lives, both as listeners and as authors for it carries a huge portion of verve. It was composed from the beginning to end with an amazing amount of inspiration that kept the powerful stream of ideas, moving us further and further on this venture. We hope we were capable of capturing some of these images into sounds and deliver them to you. The album was mostly composed sequentially, that's why we decided to keep the most of it in a single track to underline the theme of one thing transforming into another as your thoughts move from it as it often happens when you sleep. When one is seeing a dream it is hard to tell when it started or how he got here because it's in a constant change yet all is still connected.

La nave C/VVV se deja ver. Esta nave no sacude su polvo. Sus piezas están tejidas en vacío pues su fibra transita desde lo aprendido, viviendo, entendiendo y a su vez generando un anticuerpo al todo, dándole un vital lugar a la nada. Transitar constantemente entre el todo y la nada curte el espíritu fino y singular ante las constantes fluctuaciones. Así, desde ese viaje ir aprendiendo propiedades comunicativas y afrontando múltiples fases totalmente desconocidas por donde pasarán innumerables cambios o direcciones. Así es como la nave sigue fluyendo entre la enajenante turbulencia y la catarata humeante en los ojos del objeto. El pasado está siempre cerca. Es de una cálida y profunda oscuridad envolvente, una compañía esencial y cómplice, de consejo sabio y dispuesto a soltar la carga. Transformando el viaje en un gran mapa cartográfico de líneas balanceadas que se desvanecen con la finalidad de no dejar fronteras y a su vez recibir lo imprevisto, al pulso de una latencia orgánica y expansiva en paradojas.

The admiration of each other's music led to their first collaboration … and they are both working on some more tunes, since SistaSara will be giving a word and a voice on some tracks on Dub Cmd's upcoming album in 2020.
