This rush is addictive. This rush is like music, our music.

Barking at the mailman is the 5-headed dog that is running after you, playing music, both catchy and popular, rocksongs with a message. This message is the echo of a black soul, vulnerable and sticky at the same time. Once hooked, you're caught. The groove and vibe will not allow you to just listen, you will move, you will dance. And that's our goal.

Fake The Effort joined forces early 2015. Overdriven guitar sounds, pounding bass lines and tight drums are at the heart of their music, inspired by the likes of Danko Jones & Monster Magnet.

Playing intense shows at the Belgian & Dutch club stages made them hungry for more: so far they have released 2 EP’s and hit the stages of the famous AB and Botanique!

In 2020, four musicians came together with a shared passion. Dieter on bass, Herman on guitar, and Steffi on vocals formed the core of the band. Both powerful and engaging, their music is best described as moody rock with driving rhythm. While creating new songs, Sem joined the band as drummer. Together, they continue to develop their sound. Enjoy the process towards something creative!
