The last Introspective Electronics chapter of 2021 is a truly special one for us. It doesn’t often happen an artist makes a truly deep mark in such a short amount of time. We discovered the work of Inhmost earlier this year through his incredible album ‘The Meaning Of…’ out on the powerful Bern outlet re:st and never looked back. Due to a string of fortunate circumstances, we had a chance to become a sort of online pen palls and started weaving a friendship together which was leading the way to the release of this incredible mix you are listening to now ✨🌚🌝✨

Inhmost is an ambient project of UK-based Simon Huxtable who made a significant impression on the late 90s downtempo-infused D’n’B scene as Aural Imbalance. Apart from his LP out on re:st, he has released on Oslated’s dub ambient sub-label Huinali, Toronto-based Stasis Records and has collaborated with Auxiliary’s boss ASC on two long-players released on the label this year  ✨

This chapter of our Podcast Series is a tour de force of gently drizzling emotions that patiently and tenderly unfold from the meddle of rich soundscapes made up of the elements - ether, water, earth and fire. Each track is flowing seamlessly into the next on this journey that oscillates in time with the circle of breath. One wonders what might happen if we close our eyes and let all the impressions turn into feelings, let them roam free. One wonders…

Adrift in the liberating, late light of summer, delicate, frivolous, they make their way to my front porch and flutter near the glassed-in bulb, translucent as a thought suddenly wondered aloud, illumining the air that's thick with honeysuckle and dusk. You and I are doing our best at conversation, keeping it light, steering clear of what we'd like to say.You leave, and the night becomes cluttered with moths, some tattered, their dumbly curious filaments startling against my cheek. How quickly, instinctively, I brush them away. Dazed, they cling to the outer darkness like pale reminders of ourselves. Others seem to want so desperately to get inside. Inhmost is one of the monikers of S.Huxtable who wanted a representation for the more ambient and downtempo works that he creates which would allow the freedom of expression within these genres.

The goal of the Inhmost sound is to blend deep atmospheric feelings and organic nature that combine into a dreamlike state of mind that come straight from the heart.  The intention is that whilst listening to the music the listener is transported to calmer places of beauty and of light and shade.

Inhmost 는 앰비언트와 다운템포의 장르적 범주에서 자유로운 표현을 지향하는 S.Huxtable 의 또 다른 이름이다. Inhmost 사운드의 목적은 깊은 대기적 감정들과 유기적 자연을 섞어내어 마음에서 우러나오는 꿈과도 같은 정신으로 결합하는 것이다. 
그 의도는 음악을 듣는동안 청자들이 아름다움, 그리고 빛과 어둠의 고요한 공간으로 이동하기를 위한 것이다.
