Formed in Bogota, Colombia (2013), strongly influenced by genres such as stoner rock, sludge metal and punk rock.

In 2014 was released the first EP "La rata que mata", where was included songs "Vida picha" and  "La cruz de burundanga", also in 2015 the band participates in Colombian Tribute to Misfits with "London Dungeon".

During the 2016 the band composed the first LP and at the beginning of 2017 began the recordings to release this totally new material. 2018 Lauch the LP "Salmos Rata". Nowadays the band keep experimenting with new sounds.

"Surtidora de Ratas" is the soundtrack for tred chronicle, the Latin American city seen from their collective sins.

Soy documentalista y artista sonoro de Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego.Mis documentales sonoros y piezas de radio arte fueron emitidas en Argentina : FM La Tribu,Radio Nacional,FM Metro, Radio Eter , FM Alas, FM UNC, Radioactiva ; y el mundo : Deutschland Radio Kultur y SWR de Alemania, Abc de Australia ,France Culture , YLE Finlandia y en medios públicos y/o universitarios de Noruega, Croacia, Bélgica, Inglaterra, Irlanda,India, China , México. Algunos de mis trabajos sonoros fueron presentados en el IRCAM Museo Pompidou (Paris) , Gaite Lyrique (Paris), Musee Rateau (Arles), auditorio de Radio Nacional (Buenos. Aires.),Sala Nini Marshall (Ushuaia),Centro Cultural España (Cordoba) y en festivales como Haizebegi Francia, FILE Brasil y Tsonami Chile. 
Dicte talleres y conferencias en las siguientes instituciones: Universidad de arte de Berlin, Universidad de Bauhaus Weimar Alemania, conservatorio Maurice Ravel Francia, Universidad Iberoamericana de Mexico, Universidad de Manizales Colombia, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Eter, Universidad de Tierra del Fuego, entre otras.
Fui jurado del festival de radio de Nueva York y el Prix Marulic de Croacia. Mis trabajos sonoros fueron premiados en diferentes lugares del mundo:  nominado para el premio de la FNPI en la categoría radio, mención honorífica del Premio Rey de España y Grand prix de radio (URTI Francia) . Primer premio en :  Phonurgia Nova (Francia), Festival de radio (Irán), Ake Blomstrom award (Unión Europea de radiodifusión),Festival Hearsay (Irlanda) Bienal Internacional de radio (México), premio abrí los ojos (FM Metro), entre otros.

Joaquin Cófreces was born in 1975 . Sound storyteller (feature, radio art, radio drama, museum installations, field recording, sound art, soundscapes,etc) from Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. He dictated conferences and workshops and has been featured by broadcasters, festivals and galleries around the world (China, Iran, India, France, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Belgium,Norway ,Croatia, Finland,Australia , etc.) Dedicated collector of sounds brings on his travels a recorder instead a photograph camera. Intuitive journalist, understands radio like a space of experimentation, sound as a global way of telling stories in an emotional language.He dictated workshops, conférences and talks at Berlin art University, Bauhaus Universitat Weimar, Universidad Iberoamericana de Mexico, Universidad de Buenos Aires,ETER, TEA, Centro Cultural España Cordoba,Norway, Croatia, etc. His features and radio art pieces were awarded in different festivals: Premio radio sin limites (Buenos Aires 2006), Bienal Internacional de radio (Mexico, 2006 and 2012), Premio abri los ojos (Fm Metro - Buenos Aires 2009) , 8th International radio festival (Iran 2007). 10 th International radio Festival (Iran 2009. Best sound editor. Best innovative program) Phonurgia Nova (radio art – France.2009) Ake Blomstrom award (Ebu - IFC 2010) nominated to the prize Fundacion Nuevo periodismo Iberoamericano (FNPI - 2007) honorable mentions: Premio periodistico Rey de España (Spain 2007), Grand Prix of radio (URTI – France 2007), Septima Bienal internacional de radio (Mexico 2008).
