Hello my dear friends, welcome to a new edition of the Club Room. I am a really happy girl today because I have a guest in this Club Room. I am talking about a really good old friend and homie - Patrick Bodmer. You probably know him as M.A.N.D.Y.. He has been around for a long time, has big hits, was very successful and still is. And I just accidentally heard a track that he did together with his friend Maga feat. Inga Humpe. You probably know her as the woman of 2Raumwohnung. And I was listening to this track in my kitchen and it was not signed so I signed it right away on my label Sous Music. Time is on my side M.A.N.D.Y. together with Maga feat. Inga Humpe. So I asked M.A.N.D.Y. if he wants to contribute a Club Room set and he was digging deep. He gave his absolute best. So this is the Club Room of M.A.N.D.Y.. 

We are gonna have Pete Lazonby, we have of course the 2Raumwohnung, Perel, M.A.N.D.Y. together with Maga and Inga Humpe and I have a remix of it that he played in his set, Sam Goku and Paula Tape, Maglia is on the show, Catnapp and Geoffrey C, Mr Joe, Raxon, Nina Kraviz in a Ryan Elliott Tension Dub, Blawan, Rhode & Brown together with Benjamin Fröhlich, Mr. V and Wolf Story, Joe Smooth, Flug 8 and Acid Pauli, and we’re gonna Close the Club Room with Josh Butler.

Club Room 212 with M.A.N.D.Y.

The approach for this mix was different from the normal process. Rhythmic and melodic elements come from separate sources. Instead of blending tracks into each other one by one, dozens of beats and grooves were used to build a solid backbone. On top of that spacious soundscapes, track fragments, voices, echoes and reverberating pads float in and out. The whole thing feels endless and dream-like. Everything moves in waves.

Like a fresh breath of air the artist rips through his music archieve and selected more than a handful, rather more than “two handful“, of tracks that cover an easiness in seriousness, that make you believe in the warmth of a human heart in difficult times but at the same time have the strength to portray the current or present situation. Dave DK's art:cast is like surfing through the empty street beaches when having caught this moderate wave that moves you past the buildings while flooding and eliminating your mind with thoughts of joy and sadness but charming the latter away.
