From Malmo With Love is a fantastic new various artists EP on the House Music With Love label that explores deep, emotive house music by Alex Moda, Edgar Ariza and Josefine Hellström Hansson. The three artists are all based in Malmö the Swedish city that brought up producers like Minilogue / Son Kite, Johanna Knutsson, Rivet, Per Hammar, Agaric and Ticon. This Swedish label really has A&Red some fine talent here and this is sure to be their classiest release yet.

Up first is Josefine Hellström Hansson offering Water Cave, a truly deep and excellent house cut with big cavernous open spaces, prickly little synth details and a sombre lead synth line that oozes sadness.

Fellow Swede and accomplished rummer Edgar Ariza then gets more upbeat with his propulsive but still rich and deep house roller Nebulous. This one has uplifting chords, dreamy vocals that melt into he groove and a nice sense of drive.

Lastly, a new but fast rising producer who has released on labels such as EQNation and now impresses with A place Called Myanmar. It is a deep and atmospheric techno tune that has soft drums, wavy synths and icy lines that really get under your skin.

This is a classy EP full of genuine mood and deep emotions that continues to mark out House Music With Love as a fine modern day house outlet.

About the release :
Everybody who knows Connaisseur, will probably be aware of the fact that we simply love the concept of remixes. To find the right person for a specific track in order to turn an already amazing original into a new direction, is always an exciting challenge. Of course, there is always some wishful thinking on our side about what it will turn out to be like. Usually, we are completely wrong, which however doesn’t mean that we are not happy with the result. Usually, we love the resulteven more than our own brainchild. 

In April, we released Of Norway’s sophomore album "The Loneliest Man In Space", a diverse masterpiece. Since then, we have been searching for remixers whom we personally really like and of whom we are sure they can turn the track into a direction we can’t even imagine. It was a bit of a journey, but now after the product ist completed, we are more than happy that we were able to bring such a group of remixers together on one product.

As every remixer has delivered such a great interpretation, we decided to give each of them enough space to be discovered, which is why we will be releasing one remix per week over the course of two months. A selection of these remixes can be found on a 12“ extract. One extra remix is exclusively for radio and streaming.

Loot Recordings kick off 2019 with a fantastic EP from new and enigmatic artist Silence Path, featuring remixes from Powel, Quatri and Yoni Yarchi.
Silence Path is a new moniker from an artist who says this alias “came to life because of the desire to express the music in another way and to convey it to another level with a much more spiritual story than before.” He is someone who captures a harmonious universe of experimental sounds that are overflowing with emotion and spiritual feelings from start to finish.

The closing track is the excellent 'Illusion',which combines playful melodies and warm basslines to create a breezy, summer-like vibe.
This EP is a masterfully modern statement of dance music that very much comes from the heart.

The enigmatic Solstice brings us his “Yelrih One” EP, a four­tracker comprised of the eponymous namesake and three interpretations by a handful of keen peers. The original ‘Fall’ is the French producer at his deepest and most characteristic: a slow burner that’s pure atmosphere and haunting vocals courtesy of Lea Luxanima. Juan then swoops in to turn up the echo, giving us an even more cinematic version before Anton Dhouran strips things back to focus on Lea’s voice and accompanying keys. This one begs for a sunrise session near a body of water, though it’s Ivory Mantra’s final remix that has all the trappings of a dance floor igniter.

After releasing his double EP 'Voyage Direct', early 2009, Tom has spent the last two years finding his signature sound. The outcome of this search has resulted in 'Iris'. Where 'Voyage Direct' was his homage to disco, 'Iris' deals with all of Tom's musical inspirations. Shaping these inspirations into a new sound and creating an exciting mix is where Tom really succeeds. 'Iris' can be best described as a futuristic soul album. It's an album that takes the listener on a voyage into the future of dance music. A future where all genres and directions are fused together, from soul to techno, from hip hop to electro and from classical to disco. Over the past two years Tom has spent countless hours recording for 'Iris' in his studio, on the road and in Los Angeles, where he recorded 'So Cold', together with Om'mas Keith of Sa-Ra. Other vocalists featured are Tyree Cooper, Oliver Daysoul, Romanthony and San Proper. The selection of vocalists underlines the diversity of 'Iris'.
