For our 25th release with have Fedor K and the original mix is an electronic and emotional deep house track. The first remix comes from Pammin and it´s a bomb.
Second remix comes from our boy Lessovsky he adds some funky horns and beautiful strings perfect for those long days at the beach.

Ultra Knites continue their fine form and unleash the second installmant of the Knite Grooves series. This time round, Sem Marini is handed the A side while Mike Sharon welcomes vocalist Karina Junker for B side duties. There's no need for us to describe the tracks in words, that's what the player above is for. Into the fourth release on the label and many have described this label's output as 'perfect', Knite Grooves Vol. 2 is certainly no exception.

Lazy Days is proud to introduce you a new artist to the family, Lay-Far. Discovered recently with his Double Vinyl Album, “So Many Ways”, we reached out to the Russian producer to get some original music for the label. A quick reply led to this 3 track EP landing in our inbox. “New Day, New Light” opens the EP with an uplifting vibe, thanks to its great String sample hook. “Thru” follows with a lively Jazz-Funk influenced number that reminds us of early Svek Records. “If Only The Time” leaves us on a good note by slowing the tempo down but keeping the energy up. We hope you enjoy this first outing from our new friend Alexander Lay-Far and hope to bring you more of his music in a near future.

RIGHT THEN... So it's a little bit fruity, but when it's done this well, who can really complain? These two tracks kick off a Ltd Vinyl only edits series from the Scottish label...
We're sending these to just a handful of our DJs who we think will appreciate the music and not just turn their noses up when sent a record that might not slot straight into their sets... 
The adventurers, risk takers and Connaisseurs. But most of all, the lovers of good music. 
As we say, this is a very limited promo and we're doing it because we want you to hear the tracks and hopefully draw some smiles on your dancefloor.

Stereoimagery - If You Feel

Futureboogie roll into Spring with a heavyweight release from dastardly duo, Ron & Neil, AKA Ron Basejam, and Neil Diablo, who between them bring years of musical chops and (most importantly) ‘the funk ‘to the table, and don’t disappoint here.

In its Original Mix, ‘Pedre Son Éclat’ is a breezy yet sturdy slice of atmospheric synth dance, resplendent with swirling riffs and stammering bass.  A thunderous Roland CR-78 drum pattern keeps everything in check, and its sultry vocals flitter between spoken word and harmonious refrains, lacing the track with a superb ‘new wave’ feel. 

A remix comes courtesy of Man Power, the musical enigma that traded on his anonymity for a couple of years before coming clean as the English DJ/producer Geoff Kirkwood.  Having released on labels like Hivern, Throne Of Blood and Correspondant, Man Power takes ‘Pedre Son Éclat’ into even deeper territories, crafting a moody and spacious version that respectfully stays close to the original mix.

‘You Feel It’ ramps up the funk; the tribal rhythms, horn blasts and other micro samples keep the arrangement lively, all the while that bassline really gelling the track together.  

Rounding off the release is ‘Tears’; tension building strings and beats straight out of the school of Prelude/Salsoul lay the foundation for some grandiose analog arps, soulful vox and funky guitar licks, a super slick offering from the duo.

Another EP with essential originator Neo Disco tunes!
LCD Soundsystem’s Nancy Whang, Munk, Peter Herbert and a balearic jam by two obscure German Disco lovers called: The GB’s.
It’s 2017 and suddently Disco vibes are everywhere again: From festivals like Dekmantel to the funky DJ style of opinion-leading DJ’s like Black Madonna or Mall Grab. From the never ending DJ Harvey hype to the massively increased disco edits vinyl market. Former techno DJ’s like Pachanga Boys, Dixon or DJ Koze suddenly release discoish mixtapes or funky remixes. (DJ Koze's Lapsley Rmx. DJ Dixon's RA 2016 podcast).
If you went to a club in Berlin this summer the chance was big that instead of dancing to melancholic Deep House  you were stepping your feets to Disco Edits. The Disco vibe seems to take over House and Techno. 
And as Munk and the German Gomma label were among the first ones to release new styles of electronic disco a few years ago - it makes sense to  release some  essential stuff that started the wave.

LCD Soundsystem’s female voice Nancy Whang did a big disco tribute EP on Gomma 2013. New versions of classic tracks from the Casablanca records catalogue.( The classic disco label from the 1970ies). One of the 5 new interpretations was a french version of Steve Miller’s Like an eagle. This one is mad.

Belgique Disco innovators THE GLIMMERS remixed by Pete Herbert & Tristan de Cunha. A salsa piano disco house tune that will work heavy on baleric dance floors as well as on the harder clubs - when the nasty moment come in.

That Disco remix that was German Disco innovator Munk’s second big mover (after his collabo with James Murphy). 
The bassline! The piano solo! That voice!


The GB’s_ Lucky in Vichy. A 10 minutes balearic disco extravaganza. Smooth like a cocktail on an Ibiza beach. This one has never really been picked up in a bigger way, but probably that was good. No hype around that beautiful track.
