Hailing from the North West UK, Ger Zinio has been a staple in the electronic music scene since 1992. Inspired by the high-energy mixing of icons like Carl Cox and Jeremy Healy, Ger began his journey in the early rave and house scenes. By the mid-90s, his style had shifted to darker, more progressive sounds, shaped by influences such as Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Sasha, and John Digweed.

In 1999, Ger relocated to Dublin, Ireland, diving into a vibrant club scene. He became a fixture at renowned venues, including the iconic Temple Theatre, Ormonde Dublin, and the GPO in Galway. His presence earned him weekly and monthly residencies on prominent platforms such as Radio4by4 and Progressive Heaven, where he shared his evolving sound with dedicated listeners.

Today, Ger’s mixes are celebrated across the global progressive house community, with recent features on the Progressive House Classics blog. His popular podcast, Purple Haze Sessions, airs regularly on a lineup of respected internet radio stations, including Subcode, Super Progressive, KDK DJ's, Progressive House UK, Sonar Bliss Radio Belfast, RTE PULSE's Back 2 Basics, Mixpub Radio, Inferno Radio, Chicago Youth Radio, So What! Guy J has emerged over the course of the last two years to represent an intrinsic part of the new momentum in clubland. He has been at the forefront of a movement back towards the melody rich sounds on which house music is based. His distinct style and beauty were recently showcased on his stunning 3 disc '1000 Words' (Bedrock) album, so collaborating with Spain's Henry Saiz on ‘Meridian’ for Bedrock's 100th release was a match made in heaven. Henry's critically acclaimed 'Balance 019' album earlier this year has seen his star potential explode around the globe and the inclusion of his additional solo 'La Marea' track here is a mark of the highest level of quality that this extraordinarily talented young producer exhibits.
