Silo Hill is the one-man project of D.L., a reclusive singer-songwriter originally from the Philadelphia area and now based in windy, cold Laramie, Wyoming. Silo Hill combines clever lyrics with surprising chord changes, acoustic fingerpicking, jangly electric guitar riffs, melodic bass lines, and meticulous self-production. When asked what other musical acts Silo Hill sounds like, D.L. is sometimes told he is wrong, and that Silo Hill is actually more like so-and-so. Regardless, Silo Hill is inspired by a mix of 60s folk rock and late 90s and 2000s indie, including artists like Elliott Smith, Andrew Bird, and The Shins. 

Silo Hill's new self-titled album is slated for release on April 5, 2024.

Hello! My name is Dan Schonski and I am a young, aspiring musician from Waterdown, Ontario, Canada. I was successfully trained at Metalworks as an audio engineer in 2018, and continue to mix and produce my original music. I am currently 21 and have been a singer/ songwriter since I was 12, when I began to play the guitar. The music I write and perform comes from years of living and learing about how to make my way in this world. It's full of the truths I've learned, and the feelings I've felt.
