The NOUR EP is a collaboration between juke/footwork adventurer BLK MRKS and award-winning creative art director and designer Radim Malinic [Brand Nu] 

During his recent trip to Uganda, Malinic recorded a vast range of moments and encounters in local communities. Focusing on Lake Byunioni and the South-West region of the country, the trip provided an exhilarating selection of chants, local folklore, songs and monologues. 

The audio was crafted into four intricate tracks highlighting both the richness and diversity of Ugandan culture, and the vibrancy of the emerging Footwork scene. Each track is quite different in personality but all reflecting an interesting clash of cultures. 

The tracks have been remixed by a wide selection of producers from all over the world. Russian Footwork edits, wonky 169bpm remixes and club-ready 130bpm tracks... and more. Expect these on a remix EP in September. 

Ndege, the first single from the EP, will be released 13th July 2015. 
The four original tracks EP will follow in 27th July 2015. 
And keep your eyes peeled for freebies throughout the summer! 

As the B-side of the single, we present the Skimatix remix of Odes, one of the track on the forthcoming Nour EP. Skimatix has appeared on Good Street in the FWUK Trax Eight, with Burnt Up (soundcloud.com/goodstreetrecords/skimatix-burntup). 

He has done a wonky 169bpm remix of Odes, staying faithful to the track as well as going off on a completely different direction.

This project was inspired by the charitable work of Little Big Africa, who provide protected water sources to local people in East Uganda.

Intelligent sampling and tight drumwork are Bahnhof:Zoo's calling card. 'The Fire Of Our Souls' is no different, and once again highlights his immense talent.

Seven creative minds from Spain, Denmark, United States and the UK come together to release these four deep grooves - jazzy footwork with smooth jungle undertones. https://soundcloud.com/rootless_juke (Spain) and https://soundcloud.com/maloumorkeberg (Denmark) previously released a collab via https://soundcloud.com/iberianjuke and are back with more. 
Rootless is made-up of two friends based in Valencia, who met Malou at a DnB party (named 'Breaking Bass Parties'). They became friends and produced music together, part of which can be heard here. 

We also welcome back https://soundcloud.com/londydub to Good Street, after his No Offense EP was released back in September 2014. The Boston based producer adds a ghetto edge, working the track through a choppy journey.
