The Notions are a Galway based band specializing in a fusion of blues, roots, rock and indie. As much skilled with delicious grooves as grinding guitar hooks, they take classic genres and make them their own. 

The band members are Laura Thomas on guitars, mandolin, piano and vocals, Eoin Ó Conghaile on bass guitar, backing vocals and keyboards and Damien Quinn on guitars, keyboards and percussion. 

Since the release of their debut EP Scoop last October, they have cultivated a strong following at home in Galway and abroad with regular air-play on radio stations in the UK, France, Switzerland, America and Canada. The band will tour Ireland, England, France and Austria in 2013.
