The south-westerly region of the UK has been a hotspot for jungle and drum 'n' bass talent for decades, making cities like Bristol a near-essential pilgramage for any true devotees of the scene. Maybe near-neighbour Swindon hasn't had the same level of hype and spotlight but, make no mistake, there's a wealth of underground talent to be found there too.
 
Take Bizz, for example.
 
As a long-time junglist – who graduated as a teenager from garage and hardcore to the 170+ bpm breaks and bass we all love – he grasped the opportunity offered by the covid lockdown to acquire his first set of decks and dedicate himself to mastering the craft of deejaying. And it didn't take long for him to start making a name for himself.
 
Taking his first steps into the spotlight on live-streams, he quickly become a ubiquitous figure across all kinds of radio and online platforms, playing shows for the mighty Kool London, Rough Tempo, Code Red, Mid Life Krisis and many more. This built into live bookings, and he's already graced the stage at festivals, awards shows, and a plethora of raves both as a solo artist and as part of his Shellington FC crew. Now a resident for Indulgence With a Twist, he's garnering even more opportunities to bring his skills to the stage.
 
As you'll know if you've caught one of his high-energy sets, Bizz is very much taking inspiration from his DnB heroes like Randall, Brockie and Andy C. With a focus on delivering good time vibes to his shows, he's passionate about representing the sounds of jungle, both new and old, seasoned with sprinklings of other sub-genres to create a flavour all his own.
 
With the bookings flying in and his own Back 2 Bizzness live-streamed show going from strength to strength, he's had the opportunity to work alongside some of the best in the business, with highlights including sharing a stage with Nicky Blackmarket, rolling out with Bassman, and collaborating with heavy-hitter brands like Ramp Up and Loaded Bass.
 
Now, as he begins working on his own productions behind the scenes, it's clear that the Bizz story is only just getting going. When natural talent, love for the music and dedication combine, as they have in this artist, even bigger things are clearly just over the horizon. Bizz is open for business and you won't want to miss what he's got coming.
