FATIMA HAJJI 'SLV MOON EP'


Fatima Hajji launches Silver M her new record label and what a better way to baptize the record label than with this debut EP “SLV MOON” due to be released on the 16th of December. Following the success of the events she’s been organizing it was only natural to take the same concept and create her very own imprint.
On this debut 5 track EP, Fatima reflects her DJ techniques with her production skills and treats us with an energetic, heavy hitting, dance floor filler with the track “SLV”, it’s something that really gets you up and moving. With her second track “MOON” she shows a completely different side a refined, groovy sound, a great track to add to any set.
On remix duties Frankyeffe and TecHouzer provide two completely different takes on the track “Moon”. Frankyeffe gives us a dark, techno-roller with a nice acid touch, sure to be a hit in the clubs. While TecHouzer serves us a groovy, percussive, full of flavor, tech-house banger. And last but not least Alberto Ruiz completes the EP with his dark, industrial, no nonsense techno, remix of the track “SLV”.
This is a great way to end the year for Fatima and Silver M, 2017 shall be a huge year for Fatima Hajji and her record label. Her next release is due in January so we can expect great things in 2017.

First of all happy new year to everyone! Fatima Hajji is kicking off 2017 with another huge release on her record label Silver M. This is the second release on the label another 5 track EP full of peak time dancefloor fillers.

“Silence EP” is due to be released on the 20th of January and includes 2 original pieces from Fatima. The track “Silence” is a high-energy no-nonsense techno banger, a real crowd-pleaser sure to get the darkest clubs in Europe moving. Her second track “TLOK” is a fun, energetic, groover that will bring a smile to anyone dancing to it.

On remix duties David Temessi and Marla Singer provide two different approaches to the track “Silence”, David Temessi is a great example of the phrase “less is more” his remix is subtle but packs a nice punch giving the track a more industrial harder feel. Marla Singer takes a completely different approach transforming the original, adding his personal touch, a great remix with some classy personality. Finishing off the EP with a bang is Karretero with his stripped down remix of “TLOK” an absolute techno stomper.

What a great start to the year for Fatima and Silver M, by the looks of things 2017 is going to be a huge year with lots of new music.

If you’ve caught a set from Adam Beyer recently, chances are you remember this track causing mayhem. ‘Your Mind’ is a banging new collaboration with Dutch talent Bart Skils, and it absolutely caught the attention of his Timewarp, Awakenings and Ultra set audiences with its haunting chorus chant.

It doesn’t get much bigger than this: Adam Beyer links up with Green Velvet and Drumcode’s outstanding rising star Layton Giordani for a debut collaboration.

Some musical partnerships feel fated. Both fans of one another’s work, for years Adam Beyer and Green Velvet had discussed writing music together. In turn, Beyer’s protégé Layton Giordani had admired the Chicagoan’s work for as long as he could remember. When the 25-year-old found himself playing alongside the green mohawked legend at Belfast’s Shine, the spark and subsequent friendship was immediate. With the links now set in place, it was only a matter of time before the trio’s creative chemistry would manifest musically.

‘Space Date’ was conceived organically and birthed quickly. Propelled by Green Velvet’s trademark vocal hypnotism, the triumvirate combine to craft a pumping intergalactic slice of techno laced in melody that’s highlighted sets by Beyer at Awakenings, Ushuaia and also EDC Vegas when Green Velvet dropped it to a raucous response. The track is complimented by ‘Rome Future’, the product of a year-long series of productions between Beyer and Giordani. Deftly combining crisp drum work, catchy vocal effects and a powerful bassline melody that gives the track an almighty kick, it will be familiar to many who’ve followed their sets over recent months.

Antes que nada agradecer a todas las personas que han participado activamente en la elaboración de este trabajo, matizar que esta maqueta se a realizado con un presupuesto 0 .La grabación, mezcla y masterización, que han corrido a cargo de El Puto Estudio y La Viruela Studio  ,han sido totalmente gratis ,ya sea por amistad o por aprecio y respeto a nuestra música . Si hablamos de las producciones ocurre exactamente lo mismo . Delorian prod ,RjBeats y Meister me han dado a elegir bases totalmente de franco para que este disco sea posible y hoy mismo lo estéis escuchando .
Vuele el carismático grupo del rap underground nacional, EL OCTAVO ARTE  ,esta vez con una nueva incorporación en sus filas , Sio ,aportando frescura musical con su voz y un sentimiento y compromiso social  rapeando que pocas chicas tienen en este país . Junto a Ciniko dan a luz su primer trabajo como grupo “ VIII” .
Rap Underground contundente , con letras explícitas y realistas ,cargadas de protesta y revolución ,con instrumentales tochas y melódicas sin dejar a un lado el estilo y el concepto musical de cada tema .
El octavo Arte no se sube al carro del rap político o de protesta como muchos están haciendo ahora sin saber bien  que dicen o a  que representan. El Octavo Arte se limita hacer el rap que a hecho siempre, el de toda la vida. El rap que los verdaderos amantes de esta movida buscan desesperados…porque ya queda poco.
Este trabajo cuenta con la aportación de Pablo Hasél en la intro y con la colaboración de Feistelharakiri en el tema “mas bajos que bajo el suelo “ .
