Jamie XX turned the pace down, when he sampled this song on his brilliant track "Loud Places". I've chosen to do the opposite and push this 70's jazz-funk gem out on the dancefloor.

"Could Heaven Ever Be Like This" is the opening track on jazz drummer Idris Muhammad's fifth album, "Turn This Mutha Out", released in 1977. And even though this edit is made in 2015, it's supposed to sound kind of like a vintage disco treatment. I hope it does. And that it makes you dance.
