Started coming up with some ideas on piano, looking for anybody who would be interested in writing any lyrics and putting vocals over the top.

All of these are extremely rough renditions of anything which comes into my mind, will properly record it if anybody is interested in doing anything with them.  Excuse the rough piano playing, still trying to work out how it works. Feel free to download the track and put anything over the top, see what happens!!

I do not write my songs; they are beamed to me from the Mothership. I am not fame-hungry; I only wish to gain a cult following that I can shepherd to the master.

Camp Electronique is an electronic pop project from Espoo, Finland. It is likely that CE may write another song, too.

Camp Electronique are Juri (machines) and Pasi (voice). Juri is such a tough rock'n'roll dude that he never misses his chess club meetings. He is a soundscape pro who works with synths all the time and yet claims he's never written electronic pop before. Pasi is such a tough rock'n'roll dude that he drank a whole can of lemonade during a recording session. Pasi is known to some with his old nickname Jana, as a founder member of Finnish electronic pioneers Advanced Art.

Juri and Pasi were having a chat at an industry award gala and decided to launch Camp Electronique when the dj played a song with a great synth bass line. This may or may not have been something by Donna Summer.

At the first highly official band meeting a few tracks were chosen to somehow benchmark the direction Camp Electronique should take. These were "Lady shave" by Fad Gadget, "Je suis passée" by Hard Corps and the Fischerspooner remix of Kylie's "Come into my world". The first sessions turned out sounding very little like these.

Nevertheless, the Camp is open for public now. As a VIP guest you are most welcome to return anytime. Bring friends too.
