New mix alert!! A follow up in my series of showcases about the Saifam labels (BLQ, Dance Pollution, Green Force, Red Alert & Titanic records). Productions by artists like Technoboy, Tuneboy, Luca Antolini, Ricky T etc.

2003 is a special year for me since it's the year I think hardstyle was born. Most of the things before had more trance or acid influences. It was also the year I picked up DJ'ing AND the year I discovered a program called Soulseek (p2p sharing) which blew my mind back then! :D Suddenly all these full length versions of tracks were available to me. It fired my passion for the music even more. AND it was the year I started to go to many awesome hardstyle parties!

SAIFAM Speciale - Edizione 2003 (10.04.2018)

Coming out of the Hardcore period in the nineties, Silvio Aquila (Arend Hebers) started listening to (hard)trance, hardhouse, techno. But then he discovered Hardstyle, thanks to a classmate who owned the ID&T presents: Lady Dana. This cd opened up his eyes to a new sound, more  energetic and refreshing than other genres in dance-music he listened to.

Silvio Aquila started mixing in 2003 in a local youth centre on the holy Technics turntables.

In 2006 he was asked to join a dj team consisting of 4 dj's & 1 mc, thanks to this he got a chance to present himself to the 'outside world' and play on nice party's with names like: Syro, Bobby V, Trilok & Chiren, Luna & more... Unfortunately this dj-team decided to split up and everybody went their way in 2007...
Silvio 'explored' more places in the north of the Netherlands and slowly build his reputation up. In 2008 he became a resident dj of the well-known online Harder Styles radio FearFM. Because of his big love for the early days in the Hardstyle scene, Silvio got a status of Mr. Early Hardstyle on FearFM. Nowadays people even call him Mr. Early Hardstyle of the North, in the Netherlands... Asked for (early) Hardstyle party's like Hardclassics, Back2school & more...

These days Silvio Aquila still performs, on more party's then before! From Brabant to Groningen and beyond. Playing the oldschool stuff which he loves.....
